Hello,
Beautiful.
Thank you for being here with me for today's meditation.
Close your eyes and take a long,
Slow breath in through your nose.
And then exhale slowly through your mouth.
You Again.
Inhale slowly.
And exhale.
Let your breath settle.
Into a nice and easy rhythm.
And feel your whole body.
Slow down.
Notice your hands.
Without yet changing anything.
Just notice how you're holding them.
Are your fingers curled?
Are you gripping slightly?
Are your palms tense?
Now make two gentle fists.
Hold them.
Feel the contraction.
Feel how much energy it takes to hold.
And now open your hands completely.
Let your fingers fall loose.
Feel the difference.
Gripping,
And releasing.
Holding.
And letting go.
Now let that same release travel upward.
Through your wrists,
Your forearms,
Your elbows.
Until it reaches your shoulders.
Let them drop.
And feel the release.
Bring your attention to your jaw.
Just notice if your teeth are touching.
Create a little space between them.
Soften your tongue.
Relax your cheeks.
Feel the tension melt away.
You you you Thank you.
You Sometimes tension becomes so familiar.
We don't even realize we're carrying it.
The shoulders inch upward.
The jaw tightens.
The belly braces,
The back hardens.
And the body quietly holds and holds and holds.
So let's give it all somewhere to go.
Imagine warm water beginning to pour slowly over the crown of your head.
Not a shower,
More like a silky stream.
Warm enough to loosen everything it touches.
Feel it moving over your scalp.
Around your temples.
Across your forehead.
Down your cheeks.
Your jaw.
And everywhere it travels,
The muscles underneath you The warmth pours over your shoulders now.
Feel it finding those tight places.
Those little knots.
Those spaces that have been quietly sane.
Enough.
At the warmth.
Stay there.
Now it moves down your back.
Slowly.
Vertebrae by vertebrae.
And then across your chest.
Through your belly.
And around your hips.
Feel the warm water.
Releasing all that tension.
All that tightness.
Mm.
You you The warm stream travels through your thighs.
Your needs.
Your calves.
All the way down to your feet.
And then,
Into your toes.
It takes the gripping,
The bracing,
All with it.
All that effort.
You didn't even realize you were making.
You you Take one deep breath in now.
And then sigh it out.
Noticing your whole body.
Softer.
Warmer.
Relax.
You.
Hmm.
The End you you you The End Namaste.
Beautiful.
You you you you Buh-bye!
You
