Hello beautiful,
I'm so grateful you're here with me today.
Close your eyes and allow yourself to ease into the rhythm of your breathing.
In and out,
Slower and slower.
There was a time when things rolled off your back,
A comment,
A tone,
A look.
And now,
Sometimes the same things land deeper,
Sharper,
Louder.
And perhaps you wonder,
Why does everything feel so intense lately?
If you've been feeling more sensitive,
More reactive,
More easily stirred,
Take a breath with me.
Inhale slowly and exhale gently.
Over and over again.
Sensitivity is awareness turned up.
Your nervous system is recalibrating,
Your hormones are shifting their rhythm,
And what once felt manageable,
They now feel magnified,
But magnified does not mean broken.
So breathe,
And imagine your body as a finely tuned instrument.
In this season,
The volume knob has simply been turned higher.
Bring your attention to your chest,
And notice if there's tightness there.
Instead of pushing it away,
Lean towards it gently.
Say silently,
It's okay that I feel this.
When we're triggered,
It's often because something inside of us wants to be seen.
So let's create space.
Inhale deeply,
Exhale slowly.
Let the breath widen the space inside of you.
Imagine now that whatever triggered you is floating a few feet in front of you.
Notice how different that feels.
Space can change everything.
You do not need to react immediately.
You can pause,
And in that pause,
You return to yourself.
Sensitivity can become wisdom when we give it room to breathe.
Perhaps this season is teaching you to listen more closely to your limits,
To honor your energy,
To stop tolerating what exhausts you.
Place a hand over your heart,
And feel its steady rhythm.
Let your next breath be slow,
Let your shoulders soften,
Let the heat cool just a little.
The next time you feel triggered,
Remember this.
Namaste,
Beautiful,
Beautiful,
Beautiful.
