Breathe in gently,

And let your body settle.

You've arrived at the end of the day,

And now it's time to let it all fall away.

The noise,

The demands,

The unspoken tension sitting just below the surface,

It can all be released now.

There is nothing left to hold,

Nothing you must carry into the quiet of the night.

So let your body soften,

Not piece by piece,

But as a whole,

A soft melting downward,

As if the very weight of the day is sliding off of you.

You may notice a hum just beneath your skin,

A lingering buzz from too much doing,

Too much absorbing.

Let it come into your awareness with compassion.

This is just simply what happens when we move through the world,

Soaking in energy that was never ours to keep.

And now it's time to let it go.

See if you can imagine a mist all around you.

Soft,

Shimmering,

And alive with healing energy.

It's gentle,

Like breath,

But powerful in its quiet purpose.

This mist is made for you.

It knows what you've carried,

And it knows how to release it.

As it surrounds you,

Feel it brushing across your skin,

Lifting the weight you can no longer name,

Soothing the spaces that felt too full,

Too tight,

Too worn.

Let it sweep across your chest,

Gathering up old conversations,

Unspoken words,

And all the heaviness of emotions that was never meant to stay.

Let it swirl around your head,

Untangling the thoughts that loop,

The stories you've repeated,

The judgments you didn't ask to receive.

Feel them all loosen and disappear as you sink further into sleep.

The mist continues its gentle work down your back,

Through your arms,

And around your legs,

Cleansing not only what's on the surface,

But what lingers in the spaces in between.

There is nothing harsh here,

Nothing abrupt,

Just the soft,

Slow unraveling of energy that no longer belongs to you.

Let the earth beneath you receive what you release.

Let it take in every drop of tension,

Every trace of fear,

Every bit of unrest.

Let it return to the soil to be changed,

To be transformed.

You are not broken.

You are not off.

You are simply full.

And now you are cleansing and releasing.

As the mist fades,

What's left is space,

Lightness,

Stillness.

Let this feeling stretch through you,

And let it hold you.

Only peace is here.

Only the gentle rhythm of your breath,

And the quiet knowing that your energy has been cleared.
