Let's begin by closing your eyes and taking one big giant breath,
Filling your entire body up with air.
Hold it at the top for just a second,
And then release it all,
And as you do,
Melt into your bed.
Bring your breathing to a nice,
Easy rhythm,
Letting each exhale sink you a little softer,
A little further into your bed.
There's a quiet rhythm within you,
A gentle flow of energy that guides you.
When life feels heavy,
When your body feels tense,
All this energy can become scattered and really unbalanced.
But tonight,
You have the opportunity to bring yourself back to center,
To align your energy and allow healing to flow through you effortlessly.
You don't need to force it.
Simply let go and allow your body and mind to return to its natural state of harmony,
Its natural state of peace.
So take a deep breath in,
And as you exhale,
Feel your body begin to relax,
Your muscles softening,
And your mind quieting.
You are safe here.
You are supported by the earth beneath you and the night that surrounds you.
Let go of anything that no longer serves you,
And let yourself sink into the stillness.
Now,
Gently bring your awareness to the base of your spine,
To your root chakra.
This is your foundation,
Your sense of security and safety.
Imagine a warm,
Grounding energy here.
Steady and strong,
Anchoring you in safety and stability.
Feel this energy supporting you,
Allowing you to rest deeply.
Now move your awareness up to your lower abdomen,
Your sacral chakra.
This is the center of your emotions,
Your creativity,
Allow a gentle flow of warmth to settle here,
Soothing any tension,
Balancing your emotional energy,
And bringing peace to your body and mind.
Bring your focus to the area just above your bellybutton.
This is your solar plexus chakra.
This is the seat of your personal power,
Your confidence.
Feel a soft flow expanding here,
Easing any tightness,
And restoring your inner strength,
Helping you feel at ease within yourself.
Shift your attention to your heart center,
To your heart chakra.
This is where love and compassion flow.
Imagine a gentle,
Radiant energy filling this space with warmth,
Softening any heaviness,
And opening you to rest in love,
In kindness,
Both for yourself and others.
Now bring your awareness to your throat.
This is your throat chakra,
The center of communication and expression.
Feel a soft,
Calming energy here,
Releasing any tightness,
Encouraging openness and truth,
Allowing you to speak your needs,
And to rest in the quiet of the night.
Gently focus on the space between your eyebrows,
Your third eye chakra.
This is the center of your intuition,
Your intuition,
Your inner knowing.
Allow a peaceful light to fill this space,
Clearing away any confusion,
Bringing clarity and calm,
Trusting your inner wisdom.
Finally,
Bring your awareness to the top of your head,
To your crown chakra.
This is the connection to your higher self,
To the universe.
Imagine a soft,
Gentle light filling this space,
Connecting you to something greater,
Allowing you to surrender to the flow of the night,
To the deep breath that is here for you.
With every breath,
Feel your chakras aligning,
Your energy flowing smoothly and peacefully.
There's nothing left to hold on to,
Nothing left to figure out.
You are safe.
You are whole.
You are healing.
