I'm really grateful you're here with me right now.
Today's meditation is a little different than how we usually meditate together.
This is a moving meditation.
So put in your earbuds if you like and let's go on a walk.
We begin by moving your feet.
Maybe you're walking outside or simply pacing through your home.
Whatever it is,
Just let your body find its rhythm and let your breath fall into step.
It's just you and your body moving as one.
Feel your feet meeting the earth.
The steady rhythm of heel and toe,
The gentle sway of your arms,
The way your breath begins to match your movement.
Each step is a release.
Each step is a letting go.
As you move,
Notice what's been stored inside of you.
The tension in your shoulders,
The heaviness in your chest,
The swirl of emotions that come and go.
Movement is your medicine.
It doesn't ask you to think,
It just asks for your presence.
With every step you are loosening the grip of anything that's been held too tightly.
Let your breath deepen now.
Inhale through your nose and fill your lungs completely.
And exhale through your mouth,
A long,
Slow sigh of release.
Your body is so wise.
She knows how to heal.
She knows what to release.
She knows the rhythm of balance.
As you move,
You're reminding her of that rhythm.
You are sinking again with the natural flow of light.
Let the earth receive what you release.
Let her carry the old emotions,
The fatigue,
The heaviness down through your steps so you don't have to hold them anymore.
With every breath,
You are lighter.
With every step,
You are freer.
If tears come,
Let them.
If laughter rises,
Let it.
If peace washes over you,
Let it take its time.
Your body has carried you through so much.
This walk,
This moment,
Is your way of saying thank you.
Feel your heart open a little more with each step.
Feel your mind quiet as your body takes the lead.
Feel your energy returning,
A gentle current flowing through you again.
This is your healing in motion,
Your restoration,
Your relief.
Let the rhythm carry you now,
Step by step,
Breath by breath.
Release,
Soften.
Feel gratitude for this moment,
This body,
This path that continues to unfold,
