This is a 20min befriending meditation which is also known as a 'Meta' or Loving-Kindness meditation. This supports cultivating a sense of friendliness towards someone you care about, yourself, someone you don't know so well, someone you find difficult and all beings. We do this by repeating simple phrases of well-wishing. E.g. May you/I be safe and protected, may I/you be peaceful, may I/you live with ease. The meditation begins with a period of settling.
