Hello and welcome to this relaxing meditation.
I will guide you through a visualization intended to bring you a sense of peace and greater awareness of what you've been needing to hear lately.
Before we begin our visualization,
Let's begin to tap into the breath to help center our bodies and minds.
Breathing is one of the most important things we do every day,
Yet it's not something we're taught how to do.
So we tend to forget about it and don't consciously breathe like our bodies and minds need from time to time.
Let's start off with three nice,
Big,
Deep belly breaths,
Paying attention to your belly as it rises and falls when you do so.
One,
Breathe fully in and exhale,
Let your body relax.
Two,
Breathe deeply and let any intrusive thoughts just fade away into the background.
And three,
Filling your body with as much oxygen as you can,
Let the air clear your lungs,
Relaxing you even further.
Return to your normal breathing,
Gently in through your nose and out through your nose,
Not trying to control it,
Just letting it be.
Now invite the image of a beautiful or neatly built fountain to come to mind.
See it through your third eye with your eyes closed,
The home of your inner sight in between and slightly above your eyebrows.
This is the fountain of peace.
It's built in a way that the water level is waist high and easy for you to access.
As you picture it,
Maybe there's a sculpture that the water comes out from,
Splashing down into the basin,
Or perhaps the water just shoots up and out in a beautiful way.
However you see this fountain,
Picture it vividly in as much detail as you can.
You notice the water is crystal clear and it laps and waves in motion.
You notice it seems to glow in the spots where the light touches it.
Graz your hand on the side of the fountain and feel the way it's built.
It's sturdy and cool to the touch,
Crisp and refreshing.
Now dip your fingertips into the water.
You experience a profound sense of relaxation as they submerge.
With that,
You decide to dip your entire hand into this healing water.
The sensation that this water brings you is so peaceful and luxurious that you decide you'd like some more.
So you gather a couple in your right hand,
Splash it onto your left forearm.
Gather some more and let it fall over your shoulder down your upper arm.
The moisture on your skin is glistening in the sunlight,
Similar to how diamonds reflect light.
You do the same with your left hand now,
Gently cupping the water and splashing your right arm with it,
Then your right shoulder,
Glistening in the light.
This water is not only soothing,
But its appearance is stunning.
To take a closer look,
You cup both hands together and gather some more of this pure,
Magical water in your hands.
Gathering up as much as you can,
You watch it in awe as it slips through the cracks between your fingers and spills over the edges of your hands.
This time,
Gather another handful and you bring the water to your mouth for a sip.
The aqueous nectar touches your lips and tastes almost sweet.
A soft smile comes to your lips.
This water is heavenly.
It nourishes you.
It relaxes you.
It brings you a sense of peace.
Take another handful and drink some more.
Entertaining all of your senses as you taste,
Touch,
Hear,
Smell and see the beauty of this present moment at the fountain of peace.
Gather one more handful to splash on your face.
The water seems to wash away all the worries you've ever carried in your facial expressions over the years.
Notice how you feel.
Enjoy this moment in total relaxation.
Feeling completely free and clear and open-minded.
In this space of openness and connection to your highest self,
Ask yourself,
What is something that I have been needing to hear lately?
Your highest self response.
Something that I have been needing to hear lately is.
.
.
Tell yourself that.
Give yourself that gift.
No need to wait for anyone else to tell you what you need to hear.
You have the power to give yourself what it is that you need.
Notice what this brings up for you.
And whenever you're ready,
Take in a nice deep breath.
Exhale,
Clear it all out.
Become fully aware of the present moment.
Return to the space in which your physical body is inhabiting.
Wiggle your fingers,
Your toes.
Maybe you even take a full body stretch if that feels right.
You're ready to take on the rest of your day with confidence,
Peace,
Love,
And trust that you have your own back.
You may want to continue journaling on this experience.
Or possibly look yourself in the mirror and share what came up for you in your meditation today.
What you need to hear more of.
Have a beautiful day.
