Hey guys.
My name is Kate.
And I'm going to be guiding you through the next 10 minutes of your meditation practice.
Please make your way to a comfortable seat if you're not already there.
Allowing yourself to grow deeper.
Breathing into your sit bones.
Feeling your body beginning to loosen.
And breathing here in any way that suits you.
Your breath can be shallow or deep.
But most importantly,
Just finding something that suits you best.
Because isn't that what we're all here for?
Just to feel our very best.
In this afternoon meditation,
Please take your time.
Perhaps allowing your spine to grow long.
And knowing that at no point in this practice do we need to feel like we're not safe.
Like we're not completely protected here.
Taking a few more breaths to center and focus.
Perhaps meditating on this idea of change.
This thing that connects us all.
We are always changing.
Because the world is always changing.
The temperature on your skin,
It doesn't remain the same.
So why should you?
The clouds don't stay in the same place.
And the feeling of our fingertips always changing.
This afternoon meditation.
Let it serve as a reminder that you have changed so many times today.
But at the heart of it all,
You will always have this place.
This breath to come back to.
And eventually,
One day,
That will change.
But think whatever you believe in.
And perhaps that's just yourself.
Perhaps not today.
But that is change.
Allow your eyes to begin to soften.
Maybe even behind the sockets.
Heavy feeling.
Perhaps feel like there is an imaginary set of hands.
Gently holding the top of your head.
Letting you know that you're safe and protected.
And that all you have and that all you will ever need is right here.
Inside of you.
In this ridiculously cool,
Beautiful world.
Please take a few more moments to sit here.
Perhaps meditating on that.
Finding your own breath.
