Arriving into this moment exactly how we are.

The breath,

The heart,

Maybe even the story.

That too.

That too.

Can we set the table and invite our true self to this time?

Welcoming the breath.

Just as it is,

Not as it should be.

Maybe it's short or long.

Maybe it's even hard to feel.

Can you deepen that breath?

Invited in.

This too.

How is our body today?

Is it carrying the story we tell ourselves about it?

Or maybe it's light and easy.

Can we be present to either?

And melt away that which doesn't serve us?

Maybe it's living between the brows or maybe the forehead.

What about the jaw?

Or even our eyes as we see?

Or shoulders?

What are they carrying?

Our arms?

Our hands?

Our hands are alive.

Can we feel them?

Not grasping.

Just open to whatever comes our way.

Maybe we notice the breath again.

Invited to the table.

And our stomach,

We hold it tight.

Protecting.

Pulling in.

That too.

That too.

Can we soften the belly?

The story of our belly.

We're safe.

You are safe.

Allowing our belly to rise.

And fall.

And not be held back anymore.

And our legs.

The places they have taken us.

Ah,

Them too.

Thank you.

Whether they're moving or still.

Thank you.

As we prepare.

Our body and our spirit.

To come together at the table of awareness.

What do you need to do right now?

To arrive.

And welcome yourself to this table.

Maybe it's another breath.

Maybe it's releasing other tension.

Maybe it's setting an intention.

Hmm.

I am.

What do you need to be today?

Just,

I am.

And in your mind's eye,

Seeing that intention.

I am.

That which you always were.

I am.

Maybe that phrase can come back to you.

Through challenging moments.

Or also beautiful ones.

Setting an intention with the heart.

The belly.

And the soul.

Of exactly who you are to be.

Hmm.

I am.

It can be easy to adopt the major keys and wide smile of the spiritual norm, to tell ourselves we must project constant joy whether or not we are joyous. The vulnerability of minor keys, the soft, solemn voice, to be authentically who you are is the greatest gift you could give. It allows us to be vulnerable too. Thank you.

As I come just as I Am, I marvel at how simple your table is. It's not expensive, nor the wine, nor the glass, but it's what is lacking that makes it so beautiful, for the space where fine cheeses or summer meats would be is occupied by love, and for that, sister, I am more full πŸ’ž
