Hello friend,

I am Kate Kane and this is Questioning Kate,

A show intended to help you open your mind and expand your world.

I have a gift for questioning things,

And I have a gift for curiosity.

And by sharing that gift,

I hope to help you explore,

Grow,

See things differently,

And ultimately have a better experience while you're here on Earth.

I hope to make you uncomfortable,

Because without discomfort,

We do not grow.

And I hope to inspire you to question more in your life.

We can accept everything we've been told,

Or we can explore for ourselves,

And hopefully come out better than we were had we not questioned.

To me,

It's all about exploration and experience.

No stone left unturned.

When I'm not podcasting,

I am an intuitive and clairvoyant energy healer.

I also help women ditch the heartache and manifest their dream relationships.

And I've been an esthetician for over 13 years with a specialty in holistic skincare.

Now,

Without further ado,

Here is today's episode.

I've learned so much about manifesting and attracting things into our lives over the years.

And one of the techniques I really love,

And I think is such an interesting shift in perspective,

Is that we can use feelings of love for anyone to attract more love into our lives.

So I'll give you an example of what I mean by that.

I was in a kind of like open relationship,

Not a partnership,

But just seeing someone,

A romantic relationship,

But without attachment,

Essentially.

I knew I wanted more than that,

But I had so much love for this person and enjoyed them so much and was just so grateful for the time that I got to spend with them.

And so I remember driving around one day and just feeling just overwhelmed by this feeling of love and gratitude because I had this person in my life,

Because I got to have this experience,

Even if it wasn't exactly what I wanted.

I knew I wanted more,

But I was still just like reveling in the joy and the beauty and the love that was shared within that experience.

And so I realized normally I would try to push those feelings away because it wasn't the love I wanted.

I wanted a partnership,

And this was not what that was,

Which was okay.

But normally I would try to push those feelings away because it wasn't exactly the kind of love that I wanted.

But I realized that I could instead embrace those feelings of love because manifesting is all about feeling.

So I could continue to sit in those feelings,

Sit in that emotion,

And experience these really high levels of love and gratitude because I knew in doing that,

That I would attract the love I did want.

I was like,

Oh my God,

I have this really profound,

Specific way to be able to call upon these feelings to help me manifest something even greater.

And I was like blown away by this shift in perspective because normally we think,

Oh,

That's not what I want.

And thinking about it may make me feel upset or may make me feel sad because I don't have what I think is missing.

But you can shift that.

You can instead see what is so wonderful about it and use it to your advantage.

Use it to manifest something that is more of what you want.

So I was just so pleased with this discovery.

And I was like,

Why have I not been doing this?

And it just goes back to conditioning.

And I think a lot of us are just so programmed to be more sad than we need to be,

To be more depressed than we need to be.

And it's so easy to fall into those traps,

But we're so powerful.

We have the ability to shift our perspective,

Shift our energy in the snap of a finger.

Like we really do.

It can be that quick because that's how amazing we are as humans.

Those are our capabilities as humans.

As humans,

These are our superpowers.

And I just love this shift in perspective.

So I was driving around and I was like,

You know what?

I'm going to just sit in this energy.

I'm going to feel all the love and all the gratitude that I feel for having this experience.

I'm not going to push it away.

I'm going to use it to attract more of what I want.

And in that moment,

I was like,

Man,

All love is good love.

All love is good love.

There's no reason for me to push it away just because it wasn't exactly what I wanted.

So I love that so much.

And I hope you can utilize this in your life.

I hope you can understand the shift in perspective.

And maybe it's something that you can do with your current relationships or maybe a past relationship.

Because again,

Manifesting and becoming a magnet and attracting these things that we really want,

To me is really I don't want to say all about the feeling,

But the feeling is so powerful.

The feeling is magnetic.

The feeling is the language of the universe.

And so when we can have these tangible ways for us to call upon these feelings,

Then it just makes it easier.

Because if somebody says to you,

Okay,

Just feel what it'll feel like when your dream relationship arrives,

You may be thinking,

Well,

I don't know what it feels like because I never had it before.

But what you can do is you can call upon feelings of love and excitement and joy and gratitude that you have felt before.

So maybe in a past relationship,

You have felt love.

So bring your mind,

Bring your body back to that memory and sit in the energy of the feeling of that memory.

So it doesn't matter how you get there.

That's the point is like,

It doesn't matter how you get there.

You just need to get there.

So you can use things from the past.

You can even use like love that you feel towards a friend or a pet or a parent.

It can be any type of love that you feel.

And so this is a really great technique to call upon and to use.

And it's so powerful.

It feels amazing.

I feel like this kind of goes back to like when we're feeling sad or feeling depressed,

Or we're feeling upset.

And we can shift that feeling.

If we're sitting in the sadness,

We're choosing to sit in the sadness.

And there are times where we just need to feel.

I'm like a huge proponent of feeling the feels 100%.

Like we have to move through the feeling to be able to transcend whatever we're going through.

So I'm not talking about avoiding sadness or avoiding,

You know,

These hard feelings.

But just to have the awareness that we can shift it whenever we're ready,

And that we don't have to be a victim of the sadness.

And these are just things to experiment with.

You know,

They're not the end all be all.

And they're just ideas.

They're just ideas to explore and to see how they work for you.

And that's really the whole point of what I want to share are just things that I have questioned things that I've been able to shift things that have really worked for me things that I love exploring.

And yeah,

That's what I want to share with other people.

Hearing you describe being in an open relationship that wasn’t what you wanted, but still feeling so much love, somehow feels melancholy. Yet you talk about finding the good in it and still allowing yourself to want what you want, they don’t have to cancel each other. There is a tension there. You leave it unresolved. But there is hope too. Maybe that is the message?
