This is a reminder to follow your joy,
To follow your joy,
To live from your heart,
To trust what you feel,
To really lean into those places and allow them to be true and real,
Allow them to guide you,
Allow them to be stronger than what the mind says.
The mind doesn't know what's in our heart,
So when it comes to living a fulfilling and aligned life that really feels good,
You have to follow your heart and your joy and your peace.
So this is your reminder.
Sometimes we have to be reminded again and again until it becomes more normal to live this way,
But for most of us it does not feel normal to live this way.
It feels wrong to live from these other places,
But it is not wrong.
It can bring us so much goodness that we didn't know existed.
So it's okay,
It's okay to follow your heart and your joy and your fun and your lightheartedness and your ease and your peace.
It's okay to follow the things that bring you into alignment with those feelings.
It's fully okay to do that.
There's nothing else you have to do.
There's nothing else you have to do.
This life can be just about what feels good.
And that's it.
It can just be about what feels good.
If it doesn't feel good,
Don't do it.
It doesn't matter.
The mind has all of these reasons that that statement can't be true,
But the truth is it can.
And the only thing stopping us is old beliefs,
Old beliefs that we can either stick to or get rid of.
There is no right or wrong way to live your life.
It's not up to anybody else.
It just has to feel good for you.
So sky's the limit.
You can do whatever you want.
Give yourself that freedom.
We all deserve to give ourselves that freedom to live in any way that we want,
Any way that feels good to us,
Not harming anyone else.
And we can all just agree that this is okay.
And there doesn't have to be any judgment of anyone for their choices.
Everybody deserves to just feel good while they're here.
So it can be that simple.
It can be that simple if you want it to.
What I've noticed about this,
Living this way for myself is that it started as just like a glimmer,
A glimmer of hope that this was possible,
That I could do it.
And then my mind would pull me back and say,
No,
No,
No,
No,
No,
No,
No,
You can't do that.
That's too easy.
You can't just do what makes you happy.
But I just kept leaning into it,
Expanding this idea of living from the heart and from joy,
Feeling free.
Just wanted to feel free from the traps of my mind.
And there are so many traps,
And they are so intricate and strong,
But they can be broken.
So if you're feeling that,
Know that that's normal,
And it will lessen with time.
And just keep leaning in to how you want to feel the life you want to live.
Lately,
I've been saying,
Just as like a general prayer,
Please help me to live the life that's in my heart,
To live the life that's in my heart.
And that feels so true to me.
Maybe that rings true for you as well.
Because I think all of us have what we imagine is our true life,
Our truest self living in the world.
I think we all have some idea.
Maybe not all,
But I think a lot of us have some idea of what that is.
And yet,
We're not living it.
We're not living it because we think we can't.
But there's really nothing there to stop you.
The prison is the mind.
Once you realize the prison is made of thoughts,
Then you can escape.
And you can turn a prison into a sanctuary,
Just with your thoughts.
So be true to what's in your heart,
The life you know you really want to live,
The way you really want to feel,
Where you really want to be.
Follow that.
Follow that.
What else are we doing here?
If we're not following that,
Sink fully in to this idea.
Even if it's just a toe that you're able to dip in right now,
That's okay.
If it feels good to have that toe in there,
Then keep at it.
And soon enough,
More and more of you will sink in deeper.
And you'll want to keep doing it because once you get a taste,
It feels too sweet to ignore it and to pretend like it's not there.
It's more than okay.
In fact,
It's what you must do right now.
Follow your joy,
Your heart.
What lights you up?
What feels exciting?
What brings you a sense of fulfillment,
Satisfaction,
Peace?
Whatever it is that you want to feel,
You follow the things that allow you to feel that.
And that is the life from your heart,
Your true self,
Your true life,
The real thing,
What you really came here to do and experience.
That's what I believe.
