Welcome to meditation with Kartik.
Today we are going to do Drataka based meditation for focus.
It's an ancient yogic meditation which will help you in achieving placing focus in mind through use of your eyes.
As eyes are the windows of the soul,
This meditation will concentrate all those internal energy and channelize those energy through your mind for which sit comfortably in meditative posture.
The hands on knees with positive intention and simply take a deep breath in filling all those energies and exhale from the mouth.
As the body relaxes,
Notice the stillness within you.
Now find an object in the room that catches your attention.
Tetrably small,
Make sure that object isn't cluttered by other things as we will focus on the chosen object.
Now close your eyes and then as you open your eyes slowly put your attention on the object.
Notice the color.
Notice the shape.
Notice all the elements.
Focus on small details at time.
Then see it as whole.
Continue focusing on the object.
Try to keep eyes steady with minimal blinking.
Gaze as long as you could without too much strain.
Keep focusing.
Now close your eyes and quickly turn your gaze up to the center of the eyebrow.
Try to keep that image of the object in your awareness as long as possible.
Observing every detail of the visual imprinting on mind.
As image gradually disappear,
Repeat the process and focus on the object again.
As eye gets tired,
Close your eyes and visualize an object on the screen of your third eye area.
Do it for five to ten minutes.
At the end,
Take deep breath and visualize breath flowing out of your third eye center.
Visualize breath flowing in your third eye center and going out of it.
This will not only help to build your intuition but also make you more receptive to spiritual energies.
Thank you so much for meditating with me.
With regards,
Karthik.
