Welcome to good night gratitude.
Find your way into a comfortable position,
Preferably laying down or seated if that feels better.
As you begin to find stillness and lay peacefully with your body comfortable and completely relaxed,
Start to tune into your breath.
Breathing in and breathing out through your nose.
Nice and steady,
Even controlled breaths.
Now begin to reflect on the day that has passed.
What was beautiful about today?
What was challenging about today?
What lessons did you learn today?
Did you practice loving kindness today?
Did you practice self-love today?
Did you express appreciation for someone today?
Did you move through the day with an open heart?
What are you grateful for today?
Love.
Freedom.
Family and friends.
Solace.
Movement.
A meal.
A roof over your head.
Comfort.
Laughter.
Health.
Connection.
Your body.
Your breath.
The voices of those you love.
The sounds of nature.
Silence.
The list can go on and on.
Release all that does not serve you.
Or your happiness.
Or your peace.
Or your higher self.
Allow gratitude to flood your heart,
Pushing away any doubts,
Intolerance,
Insecurities,
Or any negative feelings or emotions.
There is no limit to your gratitude.
The more you are grateful for,
The more you are thankful for,
The more full your heart will become.
Now allow yourself to drift off with a grateful heart and allow this beautiful gift of a day that has passed to cradle you as you fall into a restful sleep.
