Hello,
This is Karen with Open Lotus Meditation and today we are going to explore,
Open our heart to our purpose,
Our dharma,
Our dream.
When we are unclear of what our purpose is in life,
We can find ourselves filled with anxiety,
Uncertainty,
Maybe sadness or confusion.
Finding our purpose is an important part of finding happiness in our heart.
So in today's meditation,
We are going to dive deep,
Exploring our purpose,
Our dharma and finding a little bit of clarity in sitting in this stillness and silence.
So let's begin by gently closing over our eyes,
Taking a deep breath in through your nose.
You can release through your nose or your mouth whatever feels comfortable to you.
Let's do that one more time.
Deep breath in through your nose.
And release,
Let that go.
And now breathe normally.
Allow your body to relax,
To let go.
All stressors,
All tension to melt away.
And bring some awareness to your breath and your body.
Become conscious of what you are feeling right now.
As your body a little bit more relaxed,
Your mind slowing down just a little bit.
Finding comfort in your space today.
And let's flow here for just a few moments.
And let's begin by asking a few sacred questions to the universe.
Exploring our purpose,
Our dharma.
Why am I here?
Why am I here?
And open your heart to this question.
Don't think intellectually.
Allow answers to come from your heart center,
Your anahata.
Why am I here?
Next,
Let's ask,
What are my unique gifts and my special talents?
What are my unique gifts and special talents?
What do you love to do?
Next,
Let's ask,
How can I help others while still doing what I love?
How can I help others while still doing what I love?
And now let's set an intention,
A state of mind,
A state of being,
An action step that's going to get you one step closer to living your dharma,
Your purpose in life.
And now take a deep breath in through your nose and release it.
Let it go.
Let's do that one more time.
Deep breath in and release.
Let it go.
We have planted this intention deep in the fertile soil of our heart.
There's nothing left for us to do.
We've done our part by planting that intention.
Now we leave it up to the universe to work out all the details.
We're going to water this intention just a little bit further by using a mantra for just a few minutes.
Om Dharma Ritam.
Om Dharma Ritam.
Om is the hymn of the universe.
Dharma,
The sacred word for purpose.
And Ritam,
The rhythm of the universe.
And this mantra,
The vibration of having your purpose in rhythm with the universe.
Om Dharma Ritam.
Om Dharma Ritam.
You can gently repeat this mantra over and over.
And if at any time you have any thoughts or physical sensations or noises come into your space,
That's okay.
Gently come back to Om Dharma Ritam.
Repeat it silently to yourself.
I will keep track of the time.
And when you hear the bell,
Keep your eyes closed.
Om Dharma Ritam.

You can stop repeating the mantra now.
And let's take a deep breath in through your nose.

Let it go.
Take another deep breath in.
And release.
And just allow the silence and stillness to rest within you for just a few moments.
And now we're going to seal our Dharma,
Our purpose,
The clarity that we receive in our heart by knowing our journey where it's going to take us.
We're going to chant Om together,
Taking a deep breath in.
Om.
Put your hands together to your heart center and gently say Namaste.
I honor the divine light in you that is also in me.
And when you're in that space and I'm in that space,
We are one.
