Welcome,

Dear ones.

I thought I'd share this guided meditation from the most beautiful spot here on the North Atlantic coast,

Tucked away on a cliff top,

Listening to the sound of a freshwater stream trickle down the ledge and into the vast,

Deep blue ocean.

So take a moment here to get comfortable for meditation in a way that feels right for you.

Eyes either closed or fixed at a point that's not moving.

Take a few nice,

Clean,

Deep breaths in through the nose and out through the mouth.

Just doing that a few times,

Imagining that anything that's creating clutter,

Noise,

Unrest within your mind,

Within your body,

Can just be breathed away.

Setting an intention that just for these few moments together in this meditation,

That everything else can just wait to one side,

Keeping this time sacred just for you.

Once you feel comfortable and the mind is prepared for meditation,

Take a moment to breathe this harmonic life force,

This vital energy.

Breathe it into your body and imagine the tendrils of the breath feeling their way through bone and blood and tissue.

The breath finding its way through the whole of the body,

Through the limbs,

The digits,

From the torso,

The core of your body,

All the way out to the extremities.

And feel that breath as a current,

Like an electrical current,

This current of life,

Breathing and beating and pulsating inside of you.

Notice how your body feels as you breathe into parts of your body that perhaps you don't pay much attention to,

You've perhaps forgotten about.

Imagine this breath breathing new life and everything.

Take a moment to observe what's there.

Perhaps there's tension,

Perhaps there's pain,

Perhaps there's absolutely nothing.

Avoid.

In which case,

Just pay more attention.

And with this life breath,

Breathe in some softness,

Some compassion,

Some reassurance.

All too often we look outside of ourselves for reassurance,

Outside of ourselves for someone or something just to make everything feel better.

Yet we have an extraordinary amount of love and self compassion already deep within us,

If only we would allow ourselves to feel it,

Allow ourselves to receive it.

Prepare yourself now to bring in some love,

Bring in some loving kindness.

And imagine giving yourself the most glorious,

Warm,

Comforting,

Internal hug.

Everything is going to be okay.

You totally have got this.

You are so loved.

You are so loving and so lovable.

Breathe that love right through the whole body.

You might see it as a colour,

Feel it as a sensation in the body,

Maybe like warm flowing liquid flowing through the body.

Or maybe akin to the charge of this vital force that we're breathing moment to moment.

Let this loving breath soften away tension,

Soften away any fear,

Any doubt,

Any apprehension.

And let yourself for these sweet moments just come to a place of peace,

A place of acceptance.

And all is well,

All is well,

All is perfect,

Just as it is right now in this moment.

And the next.

I'm just enjoying the sounds of the water.

Our body is made up of 80% water.

Our emotions are akin to water running wild and free,

But always changing,

Always changing.

Sometimes they're like a tidal wave,

And other times like a gentle,

Gentle wave lapping at the shore of a sandy beach.

Acknowledging our emotions and just allowing ourselves to be in them.

Giving the emotions the space and the acceptance that it needs to be heard will allow them to drift away just as quickly as they came in.

Taking some longer,

Deeper breaths.

Wrapping yourself up in this beautiful cocoon of love,

Of protection.

Imagine whirling this gorgeous energy,

Perhaps it's a colour or a light,

Golden,

Diamond-like white all around you.

And breathing into the depths of your being and out wide into your energy field.

When you feel ready,

Just start to make some small movements with the body,

A little stretch perhaps of the neck or reaching the arms out above the head.

Placing your two hands on your heart as a gesture of thanks,

A gesture of gratitude for allowing yourself to have this small space of coming home,

Coming inwards.

And if you would like,

You can bow to your practice and gently open your eyes.

Namaste.

I wanted to revisit Kali’s practice and found the one I have not tried yet. It illicited quite unexpected and strong emotions. I found myself sobbing. It felt like purging. Some of my internal armor was shifting. I really appreciate this as releasing, softening and opening continue to be a challenge for me. Thank you, Kali. Your words have a healing effect and I am grateful. Namaste from another spot on the Atlantic πŸŒŠπŸ™πŸ»πŸŒŠ
