Before we begin,
If you have a candle that can be lit,
We are going to use that prior to the meditation.
If not,
You can still proceed.
In this meditation,
We are using the element of fire to ignite the energy centers within our body that have a message for us.
This could signal a powerful energy that is waiting to come to the surface or be unlocked or a chakra that needs balancing.
Take a moment to light your candle,
Breathing in deeply and focusing on the lit flame.
Become aware of the way it flickers,
The different colors of the flame,
And the way it feels around your body.
If a candle is unavailable to you,
Proceed to the next portion of the meditation where you will envision a lit candle.
When you are ready,
Close your eyes and take a slow breath in through your nose and release through your nose.
Breathe in and release.
Come down into your body,
Feeling each part against the earth,
The seat of your chair,
Wherever you are,
Connect with your body,
The way it feels in this very moment.
As you continue to breathe,
Bring your focus to the base of your spine,
Imagine it rooting down deeply into your seat.
Check in with the energy here,
The energy in each corner of your body as it travels up the spine,
Into your lower abdomen and belly,
Through your heart center,
Shoulders,
And through opening your mouth and illuminating your eyes,
All the way until you reach the crown to visualize how does it look,
Colors can you envision.
Slowly begin to bring more detail up from your memory,
Force or strain,
But explore how your mind is able to create this image in a playful manner.
The movement,
The way it flickers,
How it sounds,
If the image fades,
Gently bring your focus back and renew the image.
Now release the image and ground back into your body using your feeling sense to find where this fire is already ignited within you.
You may visualize it in a certain area,
You may even feel the heat rise or a burning sensation.
If it takes some time to connect with the fire,
Just remain curious and continue to breathe.
Oxygen will keep the fire lit.
Once you have found your inner fire,
Release the image of the candle,
Bring your awareness to where you feel the sensation in your body.
Physical sensation,
Ask your inner fire what message it has for you today.
Sit in silence and listen,
Trouble focusing.
Continue to repeat,
Take a deep breath in through your nose,
Release out of your mouth.
Light from your inner fire now begins to illuminate areas of your body,
Moving from your root or base of your spine into your stomach,
Every energy center.
Spilling out of your navel and up into your heart center,
Gaining speed,
Lifting your shoulders,
Releasing out of your mouth.
The light beam illuminates your eyes,
Fills every space in your neck,
Face,
And ears until it reaches the crown.
You are now filled with swirling light lifting every corner,
Every chakra,
Energy to freely flow.
You can feel your spine grow taller,
Let your light shine as you bring your focus back to your breath.
Messages you received today,
Lessons that were learned,
And your ability to unlock each corner of your body.
You need it most,
What you need has always been within you,
You may just need to be reignited.
Bringing your awareness back to the room.
