This short meditation focuses on deep breathing, specifically the exercise of square breathing to help you stay balanced (or bring you back to it!) in order to show up and be there for yourself and others. This meditation can be used to help with insomnia, emotional upheaval, stress and anxiety. It is also a great exercise for the young ones to do so they can stop driving you crazy…with their love and affection. :)

For this meditation,

I want you to relax and focus on your breath.

Breathe naturally in and out.

Even more relaxed.

Focusing on the breath.

Knowing all is good.

All is well.

Now we will do the square breathing exercises again.

So you're going to take a deep breath in for four counts.

Hold your breath for four counts.

Breathe out for four counts.

And then again,

Hold your breath for four counts.
