This visualization meditation allows you to flow in a complete state of nonresistance. It is a simple seated moving meditation that may give you greater insight to your mind-body, as well as inform you of which meditation styles are best for you.

Hello,
This is Julie Hunt.
Thank you for joining me for full permission meditation.
You can find additional meditations at a little meditation calm.
I particularly love this meditation because at its essence it is pure allowing.
It is completely non resistant.
If you think about our daily lives,
Most of us spend far more time in a state of resistance rather than a state of flow.
This is a moving meditation.
You will do it entirely sitting down.
So you'll be moving the upper half of your body and when your body is allowed to move,
Your mind may use the movement of the body as an anchor or as a focal point.
So it may become less distracted by thought.
Some people are able to let go of their thoughts more easily than others and meditation and simply watch them.
Others may find this movement valuable.
Each person is unique and this meditation gives you a greater insight into the particular style of meditation that's right for you.
It will give you insight into your mind and body.
Let's begin by finding a very comfortable seated position.
Softly close your eyes.
Take a few long deep breaths without controlling or forcing the breath in any way.
Simply watch the natural rhythm of your breath flow in and flow out.
Notice what it's like to breathe each and every second of the day without ever having to try.
As if you're an observer,
Watch the freedom of the breath that comes in and out.
Completely effortless,
Completely in flow.
Allow that breath to relax you more deeply into this present moment.
Every single time you turn your attention to the breath,
In your active life or in this restful state,
You return to the present moment.
Now resting here comfortably,
Consciously set an intention for yourself to simply allow to be in a state of complete non-resistance.
If the body wants to move or sway,
Let it move.
If the mind wants to drift,
Accept that it's drifting.
Emotions may flow,
You'll allow those.
Set this intention of allowing.
If you'd like to silently relax,
Let it move.
Set this intention of allowing,
If you'd like to silently repeat to yourself,
Repeat inside your mind,
I allow.
I allow.
Give yourself full permission to simply be,
To allow.
There's nothing else you need to do or become.
Right now,
This moment is perfect.
It is unique.
It is exactly as it is meant to be.
Moving into a state of flow of moment by moment.
Imagine that you are at a beautiful lake.
The top is smooth and it has a very slight and gentle drift to it.
You are completely safe here.
Your body is floating in the water.
The temperature is so perfect in the water that you almost barely feel it.
But you can notice the smoothness of the water surrounding your body.
You feel weightless.
In this weightlessness,
Your body begins to sway slightly with the gentle motion of the water.
You may feel your body moving side to side or front to back.
Feel the natural flow of energy moving the body.
There's no effort to move the body,
Simply allowing whatever happens to happen.
Even if the body isn't physically moving,
You can sense the movement.
You can sense a subtle shift of energy in the body.
When you realize you are weightless and you feel almost bodiless,
Then you may not feel the physical restraints of the body.
Become aware of what the body feels like with this weightlessness and silently repeat to yourself,
I allow.
I allow.
As you repeat,
I allow,
Your mind may wander.
Without resisting the wandering of your mind,
Notice your mind has simply taken you away from the feeling of weightlessness.
You notice that the mind took you away and then you gently return to the feeling of the weightless body.
If you hear sounds in the environment,
Embrace them as part of this experience,
Notice them,
Allow them to be and bring your awareness back to the flow of energy moving in your body and repeat,
I allow.
Continue easy,
Effortless and silent repetition of I allow just gently inside your mind for the next few moments.
This way you may have felt in your body naturally slows.
You may become heavy and you may fall into the gravity of where you're sitting.
Rest deeply in that space.
Allow the body to feel whatever it is feeling 100% natural.
I allow.
Continue repeating I allow and I'll let you know when it's time to release the repetition of the silent thinking I allow.
Please release the repetition of I allow.
Rest here in this deep state of relaxation.
Notice the stillness.
Take a few deeper breaths.
Bring your awareness back to the body.
Notice if there are any changes in the body.
Whatever has happened during this meditation,
Accept it for exactly what it is.
You gave yourself full permission to be here now,
To release stress,
You've rebalanced the body,
You've changed the cellular expression of your body during this meditation.
This meditation has given you exactly what you need in this moment.
You have allowed this moment is perfect.
It is always,
It is already exactly as it should be.
In this moment,
You are complete.
There's nothing missing.
You are whole.
This is your true nature.
Your true self is this present moment.
It's this perfection.
Simply without resistance,
Begin to deepen the breath.
As you deepen the breath,
Let go of any expectations that you may have had from this meditation.
Allow yourself to become more aware of the place that you're sitting,
Of the experiences that you may be moving into in just a moment.
When you're ready,
Softly open your eyes.
Look around the room or wherever you're sitting and savor this moment.
You have full permission to bring this present moment awareness with you into the rest of your day.
Enjoy the rest of your day.
