Let's begin our meditation.
Please sit comfortably and close your eyes.
And take a few long deep breaths,
Allowing your body to settle into wherever you're sitting.
Just let go of everything that doesn't concern you right now.
Allow your breathing to be normal,
Not controlling it in any way.
Without concentrating or focusing,
Simply observe the breath as it naturally flows in and flows out.
Now bring your awareness to your heart.
Be aware of the breath here.
From this place,
Begin by asking four soul questions,
The most important questions you will ever ask yourself.
Who am I?
Without judgment or expectation,
Just watch whatever comes.
Who you are is not a thought.
Who you are is presence.
It is being.
Shift into being.
What do I want?
Again,
Notice the answers as they come.
They may come in the form of a sensation,
Image,
Feeling or thought.
Be open and simply notice.
What do I really,
Really,
Really want?
What is my purpose?
Noticing.
And if nothing comes,
Nothing comes,
That's okay too.
Listening for the answers.
What is my purpose?
Why am I here?
For what am I grateful?
Again,
Noticing what comes.
Rather than thinking through a list of things you are grateful for,
Allow thoughts,
Images,
Sensations or feelings just to come to you naturally.
Witnessing those answers.
What am I grateful for?
Release the answers to those questions.
And then silently begin repeating I am followed by your first name and your last name.
Now drop your last name and repeat I am and your first name.
Dropping your first name,
Repeat I am.
And now the Sanskrit vibration of I am so hum.
Silently repeating so hum.
So hum.
Continue repetition of the mantra.
Just remember that repetition is easy and effortless.
There's no need to force or concentrate.
It's just a very gentle,
Relaxed repetition.
And anytime you notice that your attention has drifted away from the mantra to thoughts in your mind,
Noises in the environment,
Maybe a sensation in the body.
Just gently,
Kindly,
Compassionately come back to the mantra.
It's just a very gentle back and forth from mantra to thought.
Back to the mantra for the duration of the meditation.
I'll let you know when it's time to stop repeating the mantra.
Enjoy your meditation.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Please stop thinking the mantra.
Keeping your eyes closed,
Just allow yourself to rest.
Resting in existence.
Resting in awareness.
Resting in being.
Sat,
Chit,
Ananda.
In this beautiful space of silence and infinite possibilities,
Let's set four intentions together.
Silently repeating inside your mind,
Joyful,
Energetic body.
Loving,
Compassionate heart.
Reflective,
Alert mind.
Lightness of being.
Now release those intentions out to the infinite organizing power of the universe.
Still sitting with your eyes closed,
Begin to take a few deeper breaths.
Begin to bring your awareness back into the room.
You can gently move and stretch the body.
And if you'd like,
Gently bring your palms together in front of your heart center.
Bowing to yourself in gratitude.
Namaste.
