Transcript

This two minute meditation instantly changes the physiology of the body.

Begin by making yourself comfortable.

Softly close your eyes.

Turn your awareness to the breath.

Take one long,

Smooth inhale and a deep cleansing exhale.

Notice the quality of the breath as you inhale and exhale.

Feel the body relaxing,

Feel the mind settling.

Continue breathing easily and effortlessly without forcing or controlling the breath.

Anytime your attention drifts away from the breath,

Gently turn your awareness back to the inhale and the exhale.

It's just a very gentle back and forth.

From breath to thought and back to the breath.

I find this a relaxing and refreshing quick break during the day. Something for myself, to help maintain myself. It goes well for me with pranayama time, and I like a tiny bell at the end of many of my meditations.
