Meditation Timer OnlineJulianne’s connection to yoga started in childhood when her older sister shared the practice and brought her to classes. In her early twenties, Julianne struggled with anxiety, substance use disorder, and suicidal ideation. It was during this chapter in her life when she returned to yoga to help find her breath again and redirect her life in a more healthy and sustainable way. In 2020 she completed a Yoga Alliance certified 200-hour yoga and meditation teacher training with Sara Syed, and has taught hundreds of classes since. In 2024 she completed a trauma informed yoga training with Taryn Strong of the She Recovers Foundation. Julianne is proudly in recovery, with over 2 years substance free, and leans on her yoga and mindfulness practice to cope with life stressors. She’s passionate about sharing these practices with others in an empowering and trauma sensitive way.
