Are you ready?

If you want to get comfortable and make sure your beautiful back is nice and straight and That you are sitting or laying down somewhere really comfortable You might want to make sure your shoulders feel like they're a bit looser and not so close to your ears anymore You might even scrunch them up really close to your ears and then let them drop Ah Start to notice what you can see around the room that you're in Really notice opening your eyes and looking at all the things that you can see and the colors and the shapes Some things might make you smile and feel happy and Then notice Very gently what you can hear and you might like to close your eyes for this bit closing down your eyes softly and Really listen to all the sounds that you can hear and how amazing your hearing is That you can hear sounds Outside your room and inside your room even hear your breathing Does that feel like?

Does it help you to feel calmer?

More relaxed just noticing sounds how amazing is that?

Might hear some sounds that are really nice birds frogs Frogs the breeze rain on the roof.

What can you hear?

And then maybe you might notice your other senses what you can smell or taste Maybe you've just had some food or maybe there's a nice smell in the room And now very gently Start to notice what sensations you can feel in your body.

So this is your sense of touch and You might notice that you can feel the clothes touching your skin and You might notice that you can feel What you're sitting on?

The contact of your body with what you're sitting on or what you're laying on Or can you feel the temperature of the air on your skin?

Sometimes Sensations that we feel in our body are annoying or irritating and sometimes they're really pleasant So you might really focus in on something that feels nice right now Maybe it's a soft blanket touching your skin or the temperature feels really good Or you're wearing something really comfortable.

That's wrapping around your body like a blanket Or you're wearing something really comfortable.

That's wrapping around your body like a hug and it feels great Notice something that feels really nice.

That's touching you right now with your sense of touch And begin to notice too how your body moves when you breathe Notice how your body moves When you take the air in Your chest might expand get larger your tummy might rise Get bigger like a balloon And then when you breathe out it might all start to go down Your tummy deflating your chest contracting Ah So notice this for a few breaths Breathing in notice how your body moves how it feels Does your chest go out?

Your tummy go up And your tummy your belly going down Your chest coming back in as you breathe out Notice if you're breathing through your nose or your mouth what feels comfortable to you and just do that Noticing what your body does when you breathe breathing in Your body moving breathing out Breathing out Paying attention to how that feels how it feels to breathe Can really help us to feel more calm when we do that You don't have to change your breath at all.

Just breathe how it feels good to you.

What if it feels right to you?

Breathing in and out Can you start to notice that your body might be relaxing a bit more getting softer?

Or maybe it's still quite tense and that's okay Can you imagine that there's a beautiful feeling of Ah letting go of relaxing,

You know when You've got home from school and you can just let go A feeling like a friday night feeling or a saturday morning sleep in a feeling like when You know,

You've got nothing to do and you've got a fun day ahead of just playing A really beautiful relaxing free feeling A relaxing free feeling Let that start to flow all over you like it just magically comes out of nowhere starts to flow over your whole body A magic relaxing feeling over your whole body your head and shoulders your arms Your whole chest and your tummy and your back a magic relaxing feeling over your bottom Your hips Your legs All the way down to your feet Over your whole body that feeling of ah letting go I can relax now i'm free it's peaceful Yeah This is great Relaxing What if you could imagine now being out somewhere really beautiful Somewhere in nature a big green park Grass everywhere and a beautiful blue sky.

Maybe it's a big paddock A big field or a big park somewhere Trees off in the distance and you in this wonderful open safe space And guess what there's a kite and you're flying it.

Can you see it?

What color is your kite?

It's flying high up in the sky.

Can you see it?

Just know that there's a beautiful kite beautiful kite flying in the sky And you're holding it and the breeze is perfect the right amount of wind to fly your kite so it can Loop and spin and move through the sky so free What does that feel like holding your kite the string Going all the way up to your magic flying kite your colorful kite Flying high up in the sky Moving around free flying Making shapes spiraling around spinning dipping flying high free It's so much fun.

Can you feel it?

It must feel so fun to be free and flying your kite It's so graceful flying through the sky Your green paddock your green park your field Ah Ah Can you notice that there's a few clouds around too and wow These clouds are incredible.

They are starting to form words Can you believe it?

They're making words in the sky messages for you Oh,

What is it saying?

Words like love courage Safe as you fly your kite around and the clouds just behind your kite Forming words to tell you something really wonderful Love safe courage free peace Beautiful words to help you to support you as you fly your kite and feel the feelings of being free and peaceful And at ease and safe Comfortable and content Ah Just imagine How wonderful it is to feel These feelings of being free.

Can you feel them?

Of being safe And happy and peaceful And happy and peaceful.

It's so wonderful The sounds in the air you flying your kite The clouds forming words To support and encourage you You are safe You are loved Enjoy this for a while longer You You You You You Well done you Oh My gosh Very soft I I So safe.

Enjoy stretching your body now feeling the support of the floor or the bed or the chair beneath you.

Starting to notice what you can taste and smell and hear.

And if you've got your eyes closed you can open them.

Really look around at what you can see.
