Welcome to this gentle meditation on aligning our brain,
Nervous system and every single cell in our body with the love and wisdom of our heart.
This meditation can be done first thing in the morning or last thing at night before going to sleep.
Or you may choose to do it during the day whenever you are feeling a bit stressed or anxious.
It can be done anywhere,
Even outside,
Listening to birdsong with the warm rays of the sun shining gently on your face.
Find somewhere comfortable to sit or lie down.
Ensure you are warm and in a place where you won't be disturbed.
Then softly close your eyes.
Bring your attention to your breath.
Take a long,
Deep breath in.
Hold it for a moment,
Then gently let it go.
Breathe in once more deeply.
Hold it for a moment,
Then let it go with a soft,
Audible sigh.
Keep your focus on your breath and breathe in slowly through your nose.
Hold the breath for a moment or two,
Then breathe it out again.
Continue to breathe in through your nose and out through your nose.
Feel the cool air enter your nostrils.
Then feel its warmth as you breathe out once more.
Continue to breathe in slowly and deeply and feel yourself begin to unwind.
Now bring your awareness to your heart,
The very centre of your being,
And if you would like to,
Place one hand there.
Feel it beating soft and strong.
Feel its divine light and love.
Imagine your breath is now coming in through your heart and leaving through your heart.
Breathe in through your heart and softly breathe out again.
Breathe in,
Breathe out.
Breathe in,
Breathe out with a soft beating of your heart.
Continue to breathe in from this sacred space and bring to mind an emotion or elevated feeling that brings you great joy.
It may be a feeling of great love for a person or a favourite pet,
Or the warmth of family with a hug from a loved one.
It may be a deep feeling of gratitude for someone or something in your life.
It may be the memory of a special place in nature that has brought you so much happiness and joy.
Feel this deep joy,
This love,
This gratitude,
This peace and allow it to fill your heart.
Breathe in this feeling,
Feel it deeply.
Keep your focus on your heart.
Breathe in,
Breathe out.
Breathe in,
Breathe out.
Feel this emotion deep within your heart.
Feel it expand and grow within you.
Feel this joy,
Love,
Peace or gratitude spread from the top of your head.
Imagine it flowing through you.
Feel its ripples flow down your face,
Through your chest and belly,
Down your back and legs,
Right to the tips of your toes.
Feel this emotion fill up every single cell.
Feel the wonder and joy.
Breathe in,

Feel your heart expand with happiness and love as you connect with your soul.
Feel the warmth of your heart beating,

Feel the peace of this moment.
Sit in the stillness,

Divine light,
