Welcome to this moment for you to slow down,
To reconnect with yourself,
And to remember the kindness you deserve.
Begin by finding a position where you can truly settle.
Sitting,
Lying down,
Or wherever else feels safe and supported.
Close your eyes gently if that feels comfortable.
And let's begin with the breath.
Just noticing it.
The natural rhythm in and out.
And now,
Begin to guide your breath just a little.
Allow each inhalation to grow slightly longer.
And let each exhalation soften,
Releasing,
Letting go.
Just allow your breath to lengthen naturally and gently.
Now,
Visualize yourself as you are right now.
In the environment you're in,
Or simply in this very moment of stillness.
You are free to be yourself,
Just as you are.
Bring your attention to your heart space,
The center of your chest.
With each breath,
Imagine opening the space as if you're inviting light in.
As if you're sending love and kindness inward.
You may even place one hand over your heart.
You can also say to yourself,
I offer myself compassion.
Now,
Gently scan your body.
From head to toe,
With kindness and acceptance.
Notice where you're holding tension.
Maybe the jaw,
Shoulders,
Stomach.
Use your breath as a tool here.
On each exhale,
Let go,
Just a little.
And if something remains,
That's okay.
Rather than resisting,
Try offering it acceptance.
Acknowledge that sensation with kindness.
Let it be,
As a part of you that is worthy of gentle attention and care.
Now,
Bring your attention inward again.
And let a moment come to mind.
A moment when you felt proud of yourself.
It could even be something small.
Something quiet and personal.
A boundary you set.
A truth you spoke.
A challenge you faced.
Or a time you showed up for someone else or for yourself.
See that moment gently in your mind's eye.
Feel it fully.
Let it take up space in your awareness.
Allow yourself to feel proud.
You deserve that.
Take a few deep breaths here.
Soaking in that sense of quiet confidence.
Now,
If and when it feels right,
Let that moment go.
Let it dissolve like mist.
And wait.
Wait patiently for another to arise.
Allow it to arise in its own time.
Trust that it will come.
And if not right now,
That's perfectly natural too.
Sometimes the same memory reappears.
And that's okay.
That means it matters.
With each memory that arises,
Breathe it in.
Let it nourish you.
And when it's time,
Let it go.
These are reminders of your strength,
Your growth,
Your confidence.
Your ability to care,
Create,
Overcome.
Now,
Come back to your breath.
Just a breath.
Steady,
Rhythmic,
Grounding.
With your next few breaths,
Repeat gently to yourself,
Either silently or aloud.
I am enough.
I am growing.
I offer myself compassion.
These are not just words.
They are seeds.
Planted in stillness.
Nurtured by breath.
And over time,
They grow into trust.
Trust in who you are.
And who you are because of your breath.
Now,
Gently begin to bring your awareness back to the space around you.
Notice the sensation of where your body needs the ground.
The possible sounds in the distance.
The rhythm of your breath.
You may begin to bring light movement into your body.
Wriggling fingers or toes.
Maybe rolling your shoulders.
Take whatever you need before returning to your day.
And as you do,
Carry this softness with you.
This inner strength.
This confidence born not on perfection,
But of presence and self-love.
You can take as much time as you need to ease back into your day.
Or you're welcome to join me in closing this relaxation with two breaths together.
If you'd like to join,
Find a comfortable seated position.
Keep the body relaxed,
But the spine gently alert.
You can bring your arms by your side.
Exhale the breath where you are.
Inhale,
Arms up towards the sky,
Hands come together.
Exhale,
Hands down to your heart space.
One more time like this,
Inhale,
Arms up.
Exhale,
Hands down.
And that is us for today.
Thank you for this time.
Wishing you a beautiful rest of your day.
