Keep your back tall and proud,

So maybe allow for a very slight tuck of your chin,
Just to release any tension on your neck.
You can rest your hands on your thighs or allow for your hands to gently touch in your lap.
Take a deep breath and softly close your eyes.
Relax your shoulders and let your body get heavy,
Heavy,
Heavy,
Heavy.
What is holding you so tightly?
What is making you abandon yourself in order to please?
Love is not pain.
Love is ease.
Take a deep breath.
And again.
Breathe in love.
Exhale and release fear.
Breathe in peace.
Exhale and release pain.
Now guide your breathing back to a natural pace,
A comfortable ease.
And bring awareness to your body.
What is calling for your attention?
Where is that not?
The hurt.
The pain.
That obsessive thought.
Go there with compassion.
Just go there.
Find it and notice what's going on.
Just observe.
Where is it in your body?
Can you feel it?
How big is it?
How much space does it take?
What does it look like?
Does it have a name?
Can you maybe allow it to soften and release?
Soften and let go.
Let go.
You are not that emotion.
You are not that hurt.
You are not that pain.
You are not that unwanted thought.
You are love.
And you will be okay.
Feel how gravity is allowing you to surrender,
Holding you safely.
No need to control.
How the weight of your body is so perfectly balanced on your seat.
Where you and the universe meet.
Connect with your breathing.
Feel the natural flow of your breath.
Just let it be and let go.

In this moment,
Your mind is at rest.

Your pain turns into peace.
