Welcome to a Jones and For breathwork and meditation.
In today's five minute meditation,
We will do a little breathwork followed by a forgiveness meditation.
So let's dive in.
Find a position that's comfortable for you,
Whether that's seated or laying down.
It's all good.
Close your eyes and start to breathe.
Bringing your focus to your lungs.
As you breathe in,
Try to fill your lungs completely with air.
Filling every nook and cranny.
And then gentle exhale.
Let it all out.
Breathe in again,
Filling your lungs.
Moving all the way down to your belly button and your stomach.
And letting the air stack upon that,
Up to your chest and your shoulders.
Hold it for a little bit.
Hold it.
And now exhale.
Good job.
We'll do this one more time.
Inhale a nice,
Slow,
Deep breath.
This time as you exhale,
Make a sound almost by restricting your throat.
By making that sound,
You actually are massaging your vagus nerve,
Which helps your body calm down and relax.
So at any time you're feeling stressed or worried,
Feel free to do some deep breaths,
Followed by an audible exhale to calm yourself and massage your vagus nerve.
Let's jump into our meditation.
Your eyes are still closed and you are still breathing.
Breathe nice and comfortably and listen.
Remember that you are amazing.
You are truly incredible.
And we are amazing and incredible people who have this opportunity to have this human experience.
And this human experience is a journey.
It's a journey filled with ups and downs,
Highs and lows,
Mountains,
Valleys,
Dissonances,
Harmonies,
Whatever you want to call it.
The harmonious moments,
Those summits,
Those high points are truly amazing.
And we love them.
We cherish those moments.
Those are moments that really drive us,
That energize us.
But then there are those other moments,
Those tough moments in life.
These moments are the times when we can learn,
We can grow,
But we could only do that by looking on them,
By reflecting on them and seeing what we can learn from them.
Many times those difficult moments are filled with times that we don't like ourselves,
That we hate ourselves,
That we dislike what we did,
What we said,
Who we were.
Those moments are tough.
But remember,
You are human and we're having this human experience.
And part of that experience is the highs and the lows.
You wouldn't be human if we didn't have those experiences.
Big thing is to remember to learn and grow from them.
So forgive yourself.
Forgive yourself for those times when you weren't at your best,
When you didn't put your best foot forward.
When you did something you wish you didn't do,
It happens.
It's part of life.
It's part of this journey.
But you are worthy.
You are strong.
You are incredible.
Time is almost up.
So take one last deep breath.
Exhale,
Wiggle your toes and fingers and come back.
