We straight away go to our meditation.

For the meditation take a comfortable seat,

Whatever you feel is the most comfortable position.

Place your hands either in your lap or on your knees,

Whatever feels right to you.

When you are ready close your eyes and take a nice deep breath in and out.

Once more,

Deep breath in through your nose.

When you exhale relax and take another deep breath in and when you exhale connect with this current moment,

With the presence.

Now just carry on breathing in your normal calm relaxing rhythm.

Every time you breathe in repeat the mantra I am relaxed and when you breathe out I am peace.

So breathe in I am relaxed,

Breathe out I am in peace.

So breathe in I am in peace.

And if you followed your thoughts,

That's okay.

Just gently and kindly bring the focus back to your breath and to the mantra,

I am relaxed,

I am in peace.

And when you are coming slowly to the top of your head,

Slowly to this present moment,

To the here,

To the now.

Just take a moment for yourself to realize everything that surrounds you in your life,

Everything you are grateful for,

All the people in your life,

The love,

Your safe place where you live.

Be grateful for your life,

For your health and for the health of the people in your life.

Because far too often we forget that the health is all that we have.

We focus on other things and don't realize that this is a gift,

It's a miracle,

Our health,

Our life is a gift.

And now I'd like you to imagine seeing yourself,

Finding yourself lying on the beach in a beautiful,

Very tiny island.

And it is just you on this small island.

You can feel the sun on your skin.

The sun is shining,

It's a beautiful warm weather.

The sky is completely blue.

The temperature is nice and warm,

It's just perfect the way you like it.

There is a very tiny,

Small breeze that patches your skin.

You feel very good,

You feel relaxed.

You can hear the birds in the background.

As you stand up,

You start walking,

You realize how tiny this island is.

You can literally walk around it within a minute.

The only thing you see is the beautiful beach,

A few palms right in the middle of the island,

Some birds and yourself.

It's so quiet and peaceful on this island.

Take a moment to breathe in,

Take a moment to enjoy.

And everything is wonderful.

You are completely calm inside,

You are at peace.

And you feel that nothing can destroy this peace,

Because it's inside your heart,

It's inside yourself.

And as you stand there,

You see from far some dark clouds coming closer towards you.

The sky is becoming darker and darker.

You suddenly can hear a storm coming closer,

You see a thunder,

Lightning.

It comes closer and closer.

The waves are becoming really high,

They look very dangerous.

But as you stand on your little island,

You see that the dark sky all around you,

But above you,

There is still this beautiful blue sky and the sun is still shining for you.

And you still feel completely safe and relaxed and calm.

Even though the storm is all around you,

But it does not affect you and your island.

And a few minutes later,

The storm passes,

The sky clears and is completely blue again,

The waves disappeared and the water is very calm and quiet again.

And you carry on being calm,

Quiet and peaceful.

And how often does it happen in our life that things around us become unpleasant?

There was as well a storm around us.

Maybe your boss at work might be angry,

Maybe there is a problem at work,

Maybe there is a tension in your family or your children are just loud and crying and shouting.

Or maybe it is just the whole Covid situation out there that people speak all negative,

Worried,

Anxious.

But you,

You can always stay calm on your beautiful small island.

Just imagine the storm is out there,

But as long as you are on your own little island,

You can still remain calm and peaceful inside.

The storm does not have to affect you,

Because you have the peace inside you,

If you want.

Now feel once more the peace in your heart,

How calm and relaxed you feel on the island,

Just lying there and enjoying the view,

Enjoying the warmth,

Enjoying the light breeze.

Before you open your eyes,

Place your hands just in front of your heart in a praying position.

And thank yourself for taking the time this morning to meditate.

Thank yourself for giving yourself some love,

Some attention,

Some time and connecting with yourself.

Be proud of yourself.

You are amazing.

Recognise yourself what a miracle you are.

Recognise yourself that you are a gift to this world.

The world wouldn't be the same without you.

You are meant to be here.

And now put an attention on for today.

How do you want to feel today?

How do you want to go through the day?

What do you want to give?

What do you want to receive?

Maybe you want to give love and receive love.

Or maybe you want to simply stay very peaceful on your little island and let the storm out there.

And when you are ready,

Take one last deep breath in and out and open your eyes.
