And then,
Tuning into the breath,
Not interfering with it,
Just feel the breathing through the whole body.
And listen to the sounds around you.
Any sound will do.
Now just become aware of the silence behind and between the sounds.
Silence always there.
There's no time when silence is not present.
Just like silence is present,
So too you,
Consciousness,
Always present.
With or without the practice,
Consciousness,
Silence,
Space,
Ever here,
Always present.
Moving in the space of consciousness is only a thought.
It is not a thought.
The thought doesn't exist.
Only consciousness is relevant.
Being which is effortless,
There's nothing to be done.
To be oneself,
Nothing needs doing.
To focus the mind,
Bringing the mind to one point,
Practice is needed.
Ultimately,
To remind you of your effortless presence,
Which doesn't need a practice.
You cannot practice being present.
You cannot practice being.
Being is effortless.
Already present.
There is no hindrance.
You cannot be absent,
Other than getting lost in a thought.
No thought has any dimension without you,
The thinker of the thought.
Without you,
The thought has no meaning.
Not only the thoughts are meaningless without you,
The whole universe is meaningless without you in it.
Listening to the silence,
Subtler than all the sounds is the silence,
Absorbing every sound.
Subtler than all the forms,
Appearing in space is space.
Subtler than the space is the Self,
The subtlest.
Your Self,
The Seer,
The Witnesser of space,
Silence,
The Enjoyer,
Always present.
Just getting ready to chant AUM three times again,
Together,
Ending with Shanti.
Take a nice deep breath in.
Chanting with me AUM.
AUM.
Placing the palms of the eyes together,
Just place the hands in the forehead.
Chant Shanti three times,
Starting in the middle of the forehead.
Shanti.
Right shoulder.
Shanti.
Left shoulder.
Shanti.
There is nothing but peace,
Nothing but peace,
Nothing but peace.
