Hello,

This is Joanne here again with our final herbal tea and it's for the crown chakra.

The crown chakra is the seventh and final primary energy point in the body.

The Sanskrit name is sahasrara which translates to thousand petal lotus and so the crown chakra is considered the seat of consciousness.

It is located at the top of our head.

The crown chakra is our connection to the divine and our ability to be able to be fully connected spiritually.

It connects our physical and non-physical realms of our existence and gives access to the things that are beyond our personal preoccupations and visions.

It governs the release of karma,

Physical action with meditation,

Mental action with universal consciousness and unity and emotional action with beingness,

Enlightenment and spiritual connection to our higher selves,

Others and ultimately to the divine,

Learning about one's spirituality,

Information,

Understanding,

Acceptance and bliss.

The crown chakra is your crown of holy connection to the divine.

It sits at the top of your head and is a bright violet disc of light that emanates what is called the violet ray of compassionate and protective light.

When your crown chakra is open and functioning well,

We feel intimately aware of our connection to God,

Source,

Creator energy.

You may sense some intense sensations at the top of your head,

Typically a tingling and this can lead to a more powerful vibration that can make your skull,

Head,

Body and nerves throb.

You also might have an increased sense of intuition and connection to both yourself and the spirit realm.

And when it's blocked or inactive,

You can feel disconnected from the divine and this can make you unsure of your relationship to God,

Source or Creator.

This chakra plays an important role in the health of the other chakras and so it is essential that it is open and balanced for the overall functioning of our energy bodies.

You can also feel apathetic,

Lonely,

Passive,

Energetically numb and physically fatigued when it's blocked.

In this there can be a sense of aimlessly drifting through your life without purpose or connection.

The crown chakra colour is violet,

Its element is the cosmos,

Its planet is the universe,

Its crystals are selenite,

Clear quartz,

Amethyst and diamond.

And the goddess archetype is the guru,

Its animal is the eagle and essential oils are lavender,

Myrrh,

Frankincense and spikenhead.

And the goddesses are Shakti and Kuan Yin.

Now some crown chakra affirmations to use when you're having your tea.

I am connected to the divine source of the universe.

I trust the guidance of the universe.

I am one with all that is.

I am open to divine wisdom and knowledge.

I am a spiritual being in a human body.

I honour the divine within me.

I am at peace with all that is.

I am connected to the infinite wisdom of the universe.

I trust in the higher power that guides me.

I am open to receiving divine light and love.

So now the tea.

It's a pink lotus tea.

And pink lotus is considered the supreme lotus and brings transformation and enlightenment.

It's also a great tea to help you sleep.

And remember that we all have different tastes and I'm sure you've worked yours out now,

Whether it's five minutes or a bit shorter or a bit longer.

And I'm sure you also have remembered that some herbs have contraindications with medications.

So just be careful when you're choosing your herbs.

So crown chakra pink lotus tea is one part pink lotus,

Half part rose petals,

Quarter part lavender.

And from our tea oracle deck,

I've had lavender and chamomile tea come out today.

And how amazing that this was the card I pulled.

When our main tea,

Our crown chakra pink lotus tea has lavender in it.

And now this tea,

And this tea is also good for sleep.

It's a good relaxing tea.

Place a spoon of fresh chamomile flowers,

Half a spoon of fresh lavender and a sprig of mint in a jug.

Pour two cups of boiling water over and steep for five minutes.

Well,

Have fun making these two teas.

And as I say,

I'd love to hear how it goes for you.

And until next time,

Namaste.

Ooh the pink lotus tea sounds intriguing 🍵🪷I’ll have to do a bit of research to find pink lotus petals. It sounds delicious 🤤 The Oracle tea card for lavender and chamomile sounds lovely too. I love fresh lavender tea but haven’t tried it with chamomile and mint. I am going to have such a fun time making and enjoying these teas. Thank you Joanne 🙏🌟💖🤗
