Hello and welcome to this weekend practice to help you go deeper into your mindfulness toolkit.

Today we are going to be using the power of mantras to bring you into the present moment and help you relax.

A mantra translates into mind tool and we will use this mind tool to get ourselves out of the mental chatter that happens and into the present moment.

Now for our mantra today we're going to be using the word relax.

I am simply going to say the word relax and I'm going to ask that you repeat that back silently to yourself.

If you find yourself thinking about something in the future,

In the past,

Just keep coming back to this word relax and feel your body relax with each moment.

So let's begin.

You can close your eyes or gently gaze down.

Let's first start by just noticing our breath as it goes in and out through our nose.

Not changing how we're breathing but simply noticing ourselves breathing.

And now I'm going to begin repeating our mantra for today relax and as I say the word simply repeat that word silently to yourself and keep coming back to it whenever you feel pulled out of this moment.

Each time you repeat it to yourself feel yourself relax just a little bit more.

Take a moment to notice ourselves breathing.

And now let's take a deep breath in together.

And then you can slowly wiggle your fingers and toes,

Flutter your eyes open.

And remember any time throughout the day where you feel like you need to relax simply take a few moments repeat this mantra back to yourself and enjoy the feelings of relaxation.
