In this grounding meditation, you’ll pair your breath with a simple visualization: inhaling from your feet all the way up to your head, and exhaling gratitude back out through your nose. With each slow breath, you invite more peace, presence, and appreciation into every cell of your body. This is a beautiful practice for moments of stress, anxiety, or overwhelm—anytime you need to come back home to yourself. Let the wave of gratitude move through you, and notice how your energy shifts.

Let's begin your practice by getting in a comfortable position.

Then close your eyes or gaze down and start to notice your breath as it goes in and out through your nose.

Not changing how you're breathing,

Just noticing the air.

And now let's put some tension into our breathing.

And what I want you to do is imagine inhaling from your feet and then bringing that air all the way up to your knees,

Your hips,

Your belly,

Your chest,

Your head and letting it go through your nose.

So you're inhaling through your nose from your feet up to your knees,

Your hips,

Your belly,

Your chest,

Your head and letting go through your nose.

Seeing how slow you can move the air and seeing how long you can make your inhale and exhale without it being a struggle.

Creating almost a wave going up your body and out and back up again.

Slowing down,

Making each breath just a little bit longer.

And now from this place,

I want you to bring a smile to your face and a memory to your mind at the time you felt truly grateful.

Something you felt so grateful for.

See it in your mind's eye and feel it in your body with each breath.

Going back to your breath,

Feeling that gratitude move from your feet up to your knees,

Your hips,

Your belly,

Your chest,

Your head and then sending that gratitude out through your nose.

Continuing the cycle of bringing the gratitude,

That feeling of gratitude throughout your entire body up from your feet to your head and then sending that gratitude out through your nose.

Nice,

Slow inhale and nice,

Slow exhale.

Feeling that gratitude move through every cell of your body and sending that gratitude out into the world.

And now let's take one big inhalation in all the way up from the ground to your top of your head.

And when you get to the top,

Hold it there and really feel that gratitude building and building and building inside of you.

And when you can't hold it anymore,

Let it go with a big sound of ah.

Then when you're ready,

You can slowly blink your eyes open,

Wiggle your fingers and toes and carry the sense of peace and gratitude throughout your entire day.

It's time to step into your power.
