Hello I'm Jessie Galvin.

Welcome to these affirmations for working with the inner child.

Take a few moments to find a comfortable seated or lying down position.

Adjust your body so that you're really comfortable and when you're ready close your eyes.

Take a few slow deep breaths allowing each breath to ground you into this now present moment.

As you exhale feel your body getting more and more relaxed releasing any stagnant energy from your day and allowing you to access the place of love and compassion within yourself as you soften into the present moment.

As you settle into this peaceful space imagine a soft golden light surrounding you creating a cocoon of safety and warmth.

This light is the love and support of your higher self as you connect with your inner child.

Bring your awareness to your heart center and in your mind's eye see a younger version of you standing just in front of you.

This is your inner child a representation of your younger self.

See them clearly notice their age their expression their clothing and notice any emotions that arise within you as you see this young version of yourself standing before you.

Take a few breaths as you become present with this child in front of you and the experience in your body right now.

If it feels appropriate for you extend your arms and invite your inner child to come closer as they step towards you let them know that you are here to offer comfort understanding and compassion.

Visualize yourself sitting next to your inner child holding them lovingly if that feels okay for you and repeat these affirmations silently or aloud allowing each word to resonate within you and within the inner child within you.

I see you and I love you just as you are.

You are safe now and I am here to care for you your feelings matter and I honor them with compassion.

You are deserving of love and kindness always.

You are not alone I am here for you.

Your creativity is a gift and I encourage you to express yourself freely.

I love you exactly as you are.

You are free to be your authentic self.

Your presence brings joy and light into my life.

I cherish the innocence and purity within you.

Feel the frequency of these affirmations wrapping your inner child in a blanket of love.

Picture any wounds or scars healing and a sense of innocence and trust being restored.

As you continue to hold your inner child in your love repeat the affirmation that felt most resonant with you.

Allow the frequency of this affirmation to permeate every part of your being.

Visualize your inner child receiving this frequency of words and love.

You may notice them smile radiating a sense of joy and security.

You see them playing now laughing and embracing life with a renewed sense of curiosity and childlike wonder.

Express your gratitude to your inner child for allowing you to connect and nurture them in this way.

Know that you can return to this space whenever you need to offer love and support to this precious part of yourself.

When you're ready slowly bring your awareness back to your breath.

Take a deep slow inhale through the nose and exhale through your mouth gently opening your eyes.
