Hello,
I'm Jared Wessler and this is my daily gratitude.
Give me about five minutes and I'll lead you through.
Gratitude is an essential practice for me,
But it's not always easy.
So that's why I'm here to lead us in some.
So before we begin,
Let's start with one giant cleansing breath.
We'll hold it at the top,
Okay?
Here we go.
Big breath,
Biggest breath of the day.
And hold it.
Hold it for another moment and then let it out with a shake out anything that feels tight.
Always feels good to me to do these big breaths.
And as the music comes around,
Let's sing our chorus.
Thank you.
Thank you.
For what we've come to do.
Thank you.
And again.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Thank you.
For what we've come to do.
Thank you.
Today,
I am grateful for play.
That's right.
The ability and the action of play.
It's something that we forget to do a lot once we reach a certain age.
Oh,
I'm too old to play.
Joy has now left the building.
But let me tell you,
I forget to do it all the time and I fall into seriousness way too often.
But I really found a sense of play this morning when I was doing my vocal warmups.
And it's easy for me to find it in music because,
Well,
They literally call it playing music.
But there are so many things in life that we can have play with.
Whether we're dancing in the kitchen as we cook,
Whether we're singing in the car as we're stuck in traffic,
Whether we're wrestling with our kids on the floor,
And it makes us want to sing.
Thank you.
Thank you.
For what we've come to do.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Thank you.
For what we've come to do.
Thank you.
So remember,
Play is for all of us.
Play is the way we bring joy and imagination and extra creativity to this world.
There's a lot of magic there.
Find a little way to play today.
Even if it feels silly,
I hope it feels silly.
Find that joy and sing to it.
Thank you.
Thank you.
For what we've come to do.
Thank you.
One last time.
Thank you.
Thank you.
For what we've come to do.
Thank you.
As always,
I am grateful for your willing heart and for you being here today.
Thank you.
