Welcome to this meditation.
My name is Jeremiah and this practice is for directing your energy before the day begins.
Take a moment and find a comfortable seat or allow yourself to just lie down,
Letting your body settle.
And when you're ready,
Gently close your eyes and bring your awareness to your breath.
No need to change it yet.
Just notice it,
The natural rhythm of your inhale and your exhale.
Now begin to deepen the breath slightly,
In through the nose,
Slow and steady,
And out through the mouth.
Let the exhale be long and unrushed.
Again,
Inhale and exhale.
Now bring your awareness to the base of your spine and begin to imagine a small ball of light,
Soft at first,
Subtle,
But present.
This light is your awareness and where it goes,
Your energy follows.
And with your next inhale,
See that light begin to glow brighter.
And as you exhale,
Feel the light stabilize.
Now slowly begin to move this light,
Bring it in toward your chest and pause.
Feel the light there,
Then guide it into your right arm,
Down through the elbow,
Into the hand,
All the way to the fingertips.
And notice what happens when your awareness arrives.
Now bring it back through the arm,
Into the chest,
And move the ball of light into the left arm,
Slow,
Intentional,
All the way to your fingertips.
And now bring it back to the center.
Bring the light up into your throat,
Your jaw,
Your face,
Your head.
Let the light fill the space behind your eyes.
And then,
Gently expand the light through your entire body,
From your head to your toes.
You are now fully aware of your body.
Now,
We begin to direct,
Bringing the light back to the center of your chest.
And as you breathe,
Begin to place your awareness on your day ahead.
Not as something to control,
But as something to meet.
See yourself moving through your day,
Steady,
Clear,
Present.
The conversations you have,
They feel grounded,
Engaging,
Real.
The work you do feels focused,
Intentional,
Complete.
And your presence is felt by others,
Not because you try,
But because you are here.
Where your awareness goes,
Your energy follows.
So feel that now.
Feel your energy moving into clarity,
Into connection,
Into direction.
Not forced,
Not imagined,
But chosen.
Stay here with that,
Breathing,
Seeing,
Feeling.
We now slowly begin to release the imagery.
Let the light soften,
But keep the awareness.
Bring your attention back to the breath,
The inhale,
The exhale.
Back to your body,
Back into the space around you.
Gently begin to move your fingers,
Your toes,
And when you are ready,
Softly open your eyes.
Carry this with you.
Your awareness is your direction and your energy will follow.
