Jenny,
Welcome to The Great Awakening Show.
Oh,
I'm so glad to be here,
Joanne.
It's just so lovely of you to invite me to join you and your listeners today.
It's wonderful.
Thank you for coming.
Thank you for being here.
And wow,
Jenny,
This is such a crazy,
Great,
Enlightening,
Challenging time to be alive.
I believe there's a great awakening happening at this time.
And what does this mean for you and for all of us?
Well,
I believe really fervently.
I mean,
I was born in the sixties and I believe fervently that this is a really important time,
Pivotal time for us on the planet at the moment.
I mean,
We're actually seeing the birth of the new age coming in real time.
I mean,
We're actually witnessing that.
And I always think that to be negative is actually just the hand of the divine being outstretched.
And there's a bit of a shadow as the hand is outstretched and then the light of the divine comes in.
So the shadow comes before the change.
So just for your listeners to bear that in mind,
That wonderful change is happening.
And even if you can't see it,
That it's happening.
I mean,
I can feel the change.
I don't know if you can feel that,
Joanne.
Oh,
So much.
The light,
I can feel that for me,
It's almost like we're all going through this dark light night of the soul collectively,
Individually.
And the light coming in is so beautiful.
The divine love,
Light energy,
It's purging the darkness,
Causing the contrast,
Causing all the darkness to come up to the surface.
That's why there's got chaos,
The chaos.
And,
But the chaos is important because out of chaos,
Order is formed.
The new comes out of the chaos and you know,
It's,
And it has to come out because we all have to go through the darkness to get to the light.
Well,
We have to bring it our own inner,
You know,
Our inner darkness as well.
It has to be exposed to the light.
Otherwise,
How is that going to get out?
It's been tramped down for so many lifetimes of tramped down that which had guilt or blame or suffering or loss or fear.
It's all tramped down in some way.
We're trying to be this plastic person that really doesn't allow ourselves to explore that darkness within,
But we have to let that out.
We have to say,
Well,
That was me in the past.
It is not who I actually am.
And I have to just let it go,
You know,
So it has to come out.
So that's,
What's happening also in the world,
The darkness that which has been previously hidden,
It's got to come out into the fore because the age of Aquarius is all about brotherhood,
Freedom,
Love,
Free expression and that's got to come out.
Yeah.
It's also,
It's about finding that divine within which has been suppressed for so many centuries,
Because,
You know,
Not looking for that saviour outside of ourselves,
But going within to find our own saviour.
We are our own saviour.
That's what it says in Mary Magdalene's beautiful,
Her beautiful,
She was the true apostle of Jesus.
And it says in her gospel,
You save yourself.
That's just so true,
You know,
And by doing that,
I think going within and finding and exposing our darkness,
Bringing up them things that we don't really want to look at,
We don't want to acknowledge,
But expose them,
Brings them up to the light and then embracing them because we are light and dark,
We are divine and human.
We are spiritual beings,
Aren't we,
Having a human life experience,
But we've got to know that we are the dark and the light in this duality that we live in.
Absolutely.
I mean,
The dark,
Giving some fear or blame or guilt,
Giving it some credence as if it had a power over you.
You're giving this pseudo self,
This ego self,
Some power that it doesn't actually have.
Just bring it into the light,
Let the light of that love energy come down,
Pouring onto it,
Let it,
It's just lifted out.
It's beautiful.
And earth peace through self peace.
Well,
That's a good phrase.
Is that yours?
That's one of my beautiful,
Well,
He was a,
He's a guru of one of mine.
Yes.
But that's his phrase.
And I think that that's very important because it all starts with us because we're the light and when we become more peaceful and allow,
You know,
And do our work,
Our evolutionary work,
Then we become a shining example and our light shines on.
And then another one becomes that.
And it's just,
That's how peace becomes.
Don't you think?
Absolutely.
The peace has got to come within first.
I mean,
We can look into the world and wish that,
You know,
A wish being like,
It's,
It's without your willpower behind it.
A wish is a sort of empty dream.
You know what I mean?
We can wish that peace were somewhere out in the world there and that everybody was living a shining example of peace,
But we have to change ourselves first,
But the buck stops with yourself primarily.
You can't change anybody else.
They've got to come to that realization on their own,
But the change has got to come within ourselves.
So bit by bit,
We're allowing that darkness within,
Which isn't real,
We've given it false power over ourselves,
Allow it to be exposed into the light of true reality.
Just allow that dust mode by dust mode to just be lifted off.
Then we experience that within all we are is peace.
All we are is love.
All we are is light.
That is who we really are.
Each of us having a slightly different unique frequency.
So we're,
We're all part of that great oneness,
But each of us has our own unique frequency.
Beautiful.
That is so true.
That's just,
And that's what finding,
You know,
And resonating and raising your vibration,
Doing all them things to raise your vibration,
To be in that place.
And I think that's what society has done for so many years.
It's suppressed that divine spark that we all are within,
Because we really are.
We're a divine spark of God Goddess,
You know,
And it's that suppression has made us think that we are less than,
That we are,
You know,
Not worthy,
That we are sinful,
Which I think has done the worst to humankind.
That's why this great awakening is bringing in the new,
The new us.
Well,
This was pre,
Pre-ordained to come,
This great age and the yoga is the yogic cycles that are getting talked about that the,
The great,
You know,
26,
000 years cycles,
We go through all these different ages and we're moving from the age of darkness that we've come from.
We're moving into a later age,
But I mean,
This change is going to take more than our,
This physical lifetime,
Joanne.
But we are seeing the birth of it,
Which is really nice.
In actual fact,
The birth of this cycle,
This age started back in the late 1800s.
So it,
But we're seeing that coming.
It wasn't visible to people,
But there's upheavals and democracies coming through.
And now we're seeing that change actually in being visible to everybody in the planet.
I think it's,
I think it's a wonderful time to be born.
I really do.
It's the greatest time.
Yeah.
Greatest time.
I don't know.
Would it,
Would it be great to be alive in physical form when this great age of peace actually is here and now?
I don't know.
Yeah,
That would be lovely.
But maybe we're going to come back for that if we do so.
We can come back for that to experience that beautiful time.
This isn't our home.
This is only a school.
So,
You know,
Our aim is actually not to be born and be born here and here again,
Is to,
Is to transcend the earthly experience,
Move into our realm of light,
Our next stages.
But do you think we can choose?
We can,
And we can move on to even more beautiful and higher celestial forms of existence on other multidimensional realms,
If you like,
Isn't it?
But don't you think it's just unbelievable?
I'm not sure about choice and that whole thing.
No,
No.
I think the choice we have,
Have is to perfect ourselves because thereby we are,
Our vibration will fit in whichever other realm,
You know,
Before eventually we're so purified that we can move into that great oneness.
Oneness again,
Go back to,
Go back to the oneness,
Which is our true home.
That's our true home,
Isn't it?
We separated,
You know,
When we was born,
Separated the soul from the oneness,
From God,
Goddess,
From the light,
From the peace,
To experience duality,
To lose ourselves.
That's why humans,
That's why we're always trying to merge back with,
To find that oneness again,
To find,
You know,
With relationship,
With,
With love,
And then ultimately with ourselves,
Our human self,
With our divine self,
That oneness,
Isn't it?
Trying to find that once more.
Before we die,
Before we die,
We can actually have that enlightenment.
We can,
We can,
But it also says in the yogic scriptures that if you have a desire to,
I don't know,
Eat lovely foods,
Or a desire to have sexual intercourse in the way that humans do,
As opposed to beings of light do,
Or if you have any,
Any desire at all,
Then you are bound to come back to have to work out that desire.
So Paramahansa Yogananda used to say,
He's the yogi that brought,
You know,
All this Western philosophy,
Philosophy to the way,
To the West,
Primarily in America.
But he said,
Desire my great enemy,
Because that's what's going to bring you back into this.
Keep the eternal cycle,
To keep the eternal cycle of birth,
Death,
Birth,
Death,
Birth,
Death,
Without ever transcending.
Yes.
So you could be enlightened,
But desire is still going to tie you back to coming,
Coming into human form until you can no longer desire earthly things.
Well,
That's really tough.
Yeah.
Wow.
That's amazing.
And Jenny,
I really would like you to share with our audience about your awakening because I,
I'm a Kundalini career yoga teacher and it's just powerful.
Kundalini is our sole purpose.
Everyone on earth will raise their Kundalini.
You know,
It doesn't matter what religion or what you believe in.
It's all about the power within.
Now Kundalini rising up through the chakras.
So tell us what happened to you,
Your awakening when you was a small child?
Well,
I don't really have words because I've only got the experience of me as five or six.
I don't have really words.
It's like trying to describe the wind.
But anyway,
What I used to experience when I was five or six was I would wake in the dead of the night,
You know,
When it was,
Everything was all quiet and there was this great power building up through my body.
It felt like a great heat rising through the back of my body until it filled my head.
And I just burst into this great bubble of light.
I remember filling up the room with light.
The room was in darkness,
But I was filling it with light,
This blue light emanating from me.
I didn't really know what was going on.
I didn't really understand.
I didn't have words to describe it to anybody.
And then it would last for so long.
And then it would,
The power would receive back down through the spine.
So that was unbidden.
That was something that happened without me having any control over it or any thought to bring that on.
I remember at the time being quite alarmed because when that great power came on to me,
I couldn't move my physical body.
And that was quite,
You know,
It's like,
What's happening?
What's happening?
That was a very odd thing.
And of course,
I don't remember if I said anything to anybody or with,
But nobody would understand.
I don't think anyway.
It's only when I was an adult,
Like a young adult that I realized what it was because I'd read the yoga scriptures by then.
And I knew what it was.
It did,
You know,
When I did my yoga teacher training in my twenties,
That a great power would come over me.
I spent half my yoga teacher training flat on my back in this great big void of power,
You know,
Because every time I did like see the warrior pose and go,
There it is again.
And I'm lying flat on my back.
I was one of these flaky people until I learned to control it.
But yeah.
What about your experience Joanne?
Joanne Yes.
When I started,
I was,
I went to Italy to,
I mean,
I started doing yoga on my own really,
You know,
And then when I was 13,
For many years when I traveled around the world,
But then I did my teacher training here when I was pregnant.
And then I went to live in Italy and it was like,
I was,
I was on this austere top of the mountain yoga ashram retreat.
Yeah.
On in Italy,
Because all I did was just study all the Upanishads and Bhagavad Gita,
All the ancient Vedas study,
Study,
Study.
And it was like my initiation really into Kundalini.
And I found my then guru who is a Kundalini Kriya Yoga Master and the solar energy master as well with pranic healing.
And,
You know,
When something just clicked in me,
When I heard him say,
Self-peace,
Earth peace,
Free self-peace.
And then I started raising and doing the Kundalini.
And when I did that,
I would be something,
You know,
It was just,
I could feel the energy just raising up.
And now all of my research since then,
And I still do it now,
And I bring it up to the pineal and I,
It's the chrism oil,
Which is said about in the Bible.
We've got the seven lanterns,
The seven,
The seven lanterns,
The seven lights in the Bible,
Which you know,
Relate to the chakras.
And it's all about raising our energy up the 33 vertebrae as the 33 steps of Jacob's ladder crossing over crucifixion and coming into the pineal and the pituitary glands and then lighting up the light of the world,
The light of the world.
Here is the Holy Trinity.
I believe the Holy Trinity here.
So it's just phenomenal.
And I believe our pineal gland acts once we start activating it and the third eye starts opening,
I believe it becomes like an antenna and it picks up and in that quantum,
Quantum world,
Which I call the divine mind,
I call it the divine mind of God,
The quantum world.
And that's where we go super conscious,
If you wish.
And that's where we can imagine,
Create,
Co-create with the creator,
With God,
Goddess,
And where we can go on into,
I mean,
I've done such deep meditations that I've almost gone into so much into that light that I know that I will be going there soon.
It's like through that light into the other veil of the other dimensions where all of the spiritual teachers are waiting to teach us.
It's just phenomenal.
It's just beautiful.
Such bliss,
Such bliss.
And the flickering,
The flickering I get such bliss.
It's the opening of the third eye,
But you have to practice.
Absolutely.
Yes.
So I mean that meditation has got to be daily,
If not twice daily in order to get that.
But it becomes,
I would say,
It becomes such a bedrock of your life that you wouldn't want to not do it because you feel fantastic.
Things that happen in the world that would have upset you in the past,
You just see them as part of the change.
This is the world of flux and change.
There's always going to be change.
So what you're seeing happen in the world doesn't affect you in the same way as it would have done before because you're seeing the souls that are affected by this haven't been changed.
They haven't been harmed by any of the experiences they're going through.
They're merely having the experience of suffering.
And I know that sounds a bit callous,
But when you're in that state of meditation,
It's not that you don't care.
It's just that you perceive what they're experiencing differently.
And I think that's really,
It's a really important change that happens,
But watch it.
Are you right about the bliss on the inside?
It's literally out of this world.
And I believe Jenny as well.
It's like when I touch that divine love,
Light energy,
That light,
It fills my vessel up.
Nothing in the 3D can do that,
Right?
Nothing in the 3D can do it only by experiencing that light.
And I know that that light,
That light is the divine light of God,
God has this,
Of all the angels and of,
You know,
Of,
Of all of our ancestors,
Everything.
And it's coming over me like this protection.
So it wards off that negativity from anything out there that's happening in that 3D world.
Right.
And I just know that,
And I know that if I didn't do meditation and yoga,
But meditation more,
I would not be here.
I wouldn't have been able to be who I am today to go through all of my challenges,
To bring up my four children on my own for so many years,
Nearly 20 years now,
And to experience everything,
But to rise again when things happen,
To rise again.
And so now when things do come in,
I might feel that sort of negative statefully.
Why don't it be weird?
Because I'm not there anymore.
You know,
I'm in this place of peace and love.
Yeah,
But seeing those moments when you're feeling that negativity,
It's some aspect of yourself that's drawn into,
You wouldn't,
You wouldn't feel it if you were,
If you didn't have some part,
Some moat of dust or debris from a previous life or from a past that you're still holding on to.
So it's,
You're feeling it because there's some aspect of yourself that needs to be brought into the light.
And sometimes those are small things that you go,
Oh,
Well I can let go of that.
And you just sit for five minutes and it's away.
Or sometimes it's a meaty chunk of something that you've been grimly holding on to.
And if it's been entrenched for many lifetimes,
Then it's a bit of a tough cookie to let go of sometimes.
But you just keep sitting there.
And I sometimes I use my physical hands,
Lift out of myself and offer up into the light,
You know,
As if it were a thing.
I've used my physical hands sometimes when it's a tough thing.
You just keep,
Keep and prayer,
Prayer is a great transcendent of all difficulties.
So prayer is that linking into that either that God,
God,
His or herself,
Or into some guru or master or saint or into the angels.
I link into my guru.
That's Paramahansa Yogananda.
So I ask his support and a guru.
It doesn't matter if they're in this world or the next that they're,
They are a multidimensional,
You know,
They're not linked to any one space or time.
So yeah,
That makes a huge difference or just into that great light,
Just hand over,
Ask for that this to be lifted off you,
That isn't you anymore.
You know,
You thought it was,
But it isn't.
It's all in the asked.
You're so right,
Jenny.
The asking is so important because we ask as King,
Asking,
Ask as King.
We are asking them.
And when we do that,
We acknowledge their existence and then they can come in and help with that purification person because all of this awakening,
All this evolving is all about purifying ourselves,
Mind,
Body and soul.
Isn't it?
And that's another question before we come onto your beautiful book is about the practice of yoga,
The true practice of yoga,
Because you know,
I've been practicing yoga for 25 years.
Like you been a teacher for that long.
No,
You'll be longer.
You'll be like 40.
Yeah,
No,
I'm fifth 50 years.
I started to start to yoga when I was nine.
So 50 years ago,
That's a long time.
Yeah.
But the true practice of yoga for me is the postures of course,
But then the pranayama,
The breathing and then the meditation and then the bandhas.
It's all of that process.
But in the West,
You go to these places and all they're doing is just pure exercise.
They're just doing the postures,
Which is not yoga,
But Joanne it's a stage,
Right?
So I don't denigrate the physical yoga because it changes people.
It does.
And it brings you onto the next one.
It brings you onto the next one.
Yes,
Because what people find is that,
Well,
A common experience is that after you've been to yoga class,
You sleep like a log for that night.
You probably get two really great night's sleep after one yoga class.
People go,
Oh,
That makes a difference in me.
I feel calmer.
I feel better disposed to kind of cope with the vagaries of life and whatever gets thrown up and that difficult person in my work,
My work life,
I can cope with them better because I'm in a bubble of light.
People find that it makes a difference.
And then if there are,
If in previous lifetimes,
They have had a spiritual search,
Then they might find that yoga is the path that is the one that's going to be the one that they want to meet their spiritual awakening through.
There are other paths,
You know,
They are actually all of the one,
All of the paths lead on the mountain to the one thing,
But there are other paths.
The thing what's beautiful about yoga is that it's complete.
It covers all aspects of the ego self and its awakening.
It covers everything.
You know,
There's a text and or a practice or a technique that's going to help with every single aspect of that awakening.
Exactly.
And yoga means union,
Doesn't it?
It's the union.
It's the union of mind,
Body and soul and its alignment because I believe it's union of soul.
So with the little consciousness with the universal consciousness.
It's almost like we have to have that union within ourself first,
That alignment within ourself to then our soul consciousness to have union with the one great consciousness coming in.
And also that,
That great longing.
Remember I talked about desire earlier.
Desire being an issue,
A desire for earthly things will mean that you are bound to come back to experience another,
Another incarnation in order to try.
It could be several incarnations to rid yourself of earthly desires,
But the great,
But desire used properly is for the one thing that is to be united back into that great union with the divine.
That is where our desire used for its greatest purpose is.
That is so beautiful Jenny,
Because I say that all the time.
I say that it's the desire for the divine,
The desire for God,
The desire for that oneness again,
To be in alignment with God,
To be in a co-creation with God,
To be in love with God,
Goddess.
To be in love.
That's what it is.
I mean,
Jesus talks about this.
I mean,
What has been left in the Bible of what Jesus said,
You know,
Because a lot of it was cut out.
But what has been left,
And there are so many wonderful teachings still of what Jesus said,
Love thy neighbour as thyself and love the Lord thy God with all thy heart,
With all thy will,
With all thy might,
With all thy soul.
I can't remember exactly.
I wasn't brought up in a Christian.
And the most important was the kingdom of heaven is within,
You know?
Absolutely.
It's not looking out there.
The meditation process is to go within to find.
Now we rise that consciousness up onto the brow because then we have the clarity,
The clear sight and the clear experience in which to perceive that the light is within us in the heart.
So the process is to move up and clarify so that we make way,
We clear,
Make straight the path of God.
That means the spine.
Make way the path of God.
Clear all the obstacles of past lifetimes.
And then you can perceive that the light is actually within.
It's like a tardis.
And the inside is far greater than the outside.
It's little tiny form with stick arms and legs,
You know,
Like a wee yoga drawing.
But I think that,
I think that,
You know,
Our society and everything and organised religion,
I respect all religions,
Yeah,
But it's still man-made.
They are still man-made in my.
.
.
They are,
They are,
But they come from a great,
All religions have a seed of truth.
They have a self-realised master whose words are based on all the religions or several masters,
But someone who is self-realised and it's how those texts have been interpreted perhaps by those that are not realised.
Exactly.
Which then becomes the issue.
Exactly.
Exactly.
And I think that now.
.
.
They've all got the one truth.
They've all got the beauty.
Yeah.
But I think that also the finding,
You know,
When we become enlightened,
When we become on the spiritual path,
We look into,
I've looked into so many different religions,
You know,
So many different things.
And I went there and it was all about looking at God without.
You have to go through a priest to get to God,
You know,
Which is not.
.
.
Well,
That's the beauty.
That's good.
We go and we look and we find,
Oh wow,
There is a God,
You know,
And I'm praying to it and I feel that and I'm with the congregation and I feel it.
But then as we move up,
Right,
We realise it's all about within,
The God within,
You know,
And I just think that that is,
That's when you truly,
Really love,
You know,
Yourself as well,
Because we are,
Our body is the temple holding our soul of God within.
It's the soul consciousness that is within every single living thing,
You know,
And that's when we begin to not only love ourself,
We begin to love everyone and everything.
That's true.
I think you talked about the body being,
You know,
Like your temple.
It is because it houses your consciousness for this lifetime.
So that's why we need to have,
You know,
Healthful eating plans,
Take care of the body,
Because it's less easy to do the spiritual practices and meditate.
It's not insurmountable,
But it's less easy on a body that is ill,
Perhaps.
And diet is so important because as you become lighter,
Your food needs to become lighter and you don't want that heavy,
You know,
Steak or burger and things like that,
You know,
And it's important.
I'm just.
.
.
I just made the decision to turn vegetarian when I was six years old.
Yeah.
Wow.
Wow.
Exactly.
I'm not eating anything that's animal.
Because in the niyamas as well,
The yoga,
And it says when the animal is murdered,
And it is murder,
There's no two ways about it.
Then the pain energy of that animal and that moment goes straight into its muscles.
And then people eat that pain energy and it really affects their emotions and their thoughts and their feelings,
You know?
So,
You know,
That's what the yogis say.
It's so important,
I think,
Diet,
Because we want to rise.
We want to rise.
We want to be lighter.
So our diet becomes lighter.
I do go around,
Like this is what I used to be like a teacher in education as well.
And I got chronic fatigue.
I got burnout,
Complete burnout in 2010.
And I wrote a book about that as well.
It's called Living Lightly,
A Journey Through Chronic Fatigue Syndrome,
But it's about my experiences of recovery and becoming well again.
I had already ate really well,
But on that period I decided that I would go into raw food because it's got the untainted life force in it.
And I would go around to supermarket,
Right?
And I still do this.
I bring a basket because that was all I could,
That wee basket,
Because that's all I had to 10 minutes in and out.
I couldn't cope with any more than that.
And I would make a beeline to all the bits in the supermarket that I could get what I considered to be food.
And there were all these aisles that were things that are dead food.
As in meats,
As in,
You know,
Like breakfast cereals,
Processed food,
Processed,
Yeah.
And all these cakes and things like that.
I would walk past all of these aisles and go for what we,
You can feel the energy coming off things.
I mean,
You can feel,
If I'm not sure whether I should eat anything or not,
I used to just put my hand above it and it's like,
And my body would either give me a clear signal,
Like the energy of the food comes through my hand or it was blocked.
Like it was a clear yes or no.
And this one was like,
No,
This has got no life force.
This is dead.
There's nothing coming off it.
That is just amazing.
Yeah.
Unbelievable.
We have,
We are alive.
So we eat live foods,
Not dead foods.
And the life force energy of the prana of the sun,
Which is our biggest solar energy pranic energy,
Keeler in the world,
You know,
Makes all the beautiful fruit and vegetables and even the moon brings the energy into it as well.
And so it's full of life force,
All fruits and vegetables are full of life force energy.
And we take that life force energy into our body through the food we ate also through prana yama because it's in the air.
So we brew them into our prana yama breathing.
We do that as well,
You know,
But I want to go on now because this,
The title of your new book is so absolutely beautiful.
Awakening the Lotus of Peace.
Just say look,
I love lotus flowers.
Yeah.
Awakening the Lotus of Peace is my new book of yoga meditations.
And it's,
And each of them is to awaken that peace that's within that innate self that is peace,
That is love,
That is light.
And you're awakening that peace within,
Then we can make that change out into the world when we've got a measure of peace,
Because just by walking about emanating that peace,
You are changing the world.
The light is greater than the dark.
So just by changing,
You change everyone else.
Not that that's the goal in doing it,
You know.
So the theme is to have,
You know,
More peace in daily life.
So there's lots of tips and exercises,
Things that people can do that are going to help them to release the dark.
There's a whole chapter on the six deadly sins,
As it were,
The doshas on releasing guilt and releasing pain,
Releasing lust,
Releasing greed,
All of those.
It's got loads of practical exercises.
But what's really nice about this book is that it's not an intellectual book.
It was a book that I worked on with my meditation group for a year and a half.
So we worked on peace,
My advanced group,
We worked on them for this for a year and a half.
And each of the meditations in the book was downloaded.
So we're all in a state of meditation and I'm hearing the script slightly before I say it.
So I go in with a blank mind as to what,
You know,
Not blank mind,
But an attuned mind.
And I wait to see what's given.
So the exercises are just absolutely beautiful that I've come through.
Ah,
That's so beautiful.
Because I think as a beginner,
If someone's a beginner,
When they start to meditate,
You really need to have that guided.
You need to be guided into,
You know,
That beautiful part of meditation.
And then over a period of time,
Then you don't need that anymore.
You can go straight in and you can be there and feel that.
What I say to my students is,
You know,
That they can work with the guided script a few times and then they can practice that,
That you've got the gist of what that teaching of that session is.
And that they can just go into quiet in their own selves without the script,
Without either text or audio.
And they can just go and recreate that experience that.
So it's opening some aspect of yourself to experience that peace more.
It's like your inner self has been shrouded,
Your soul has been shrouded in all these eons of debris,
Of veils of illusion.
And that bit by bit,
You are learning to peel them away and to reveal that beautiful light of the soul within.
So the exercises on peace in my book are,
The inspiration was Paramahansa Yogananda's poem on peace.
Yoga Nanda,
I loved his book,
Autobiography of a Yogi.
Yeah,
That's a game changer.
Do you know that when I was,
I got that book when I was,
It was on my recommended book list.
I cried when I read that book.
When I was a yoga teacher.
Well,
I didn't read it.
I didn't read it when I got my yoga teacher training.
And it was 15 years later.
Yeah.
Right.
I looked at the book sometimes and when I opened it up,
I was like,
This is gibberish.
I was locked out of the book energetically until the time was right.
And then when I picked it up,
After I had cleared a lot of my experiences in life,
I realized it was important that I got rid of things that I'd been holding onto to different people more than,
Than I met these people again and had to make changes,
You know,
Had to release the past.
Then when I opened up the book,
It was like,
My,
How have I never read this before?
All the light came just out,
Out the page.
Beautiful book.
So beautiful.
And when I read that,
It was just all this beautiful piece came through.
So the whole book is founded on that.
Wonderful.
You look beautiful.
I love that.
And the Lotus flower.
Okay.
You chose the Lotus of peace because you know,
The yoga symbol of awakening.
Yes.
Because the Yodel Lotus flower starts in the dirty mud and it,
And it starts to evolve and grow and it comes up higher and higher and it pushes through the water and up to reborn into the beautiful light of enlightenment.
And that's the same as us.
As we raise our Kundalini up,
We're becoming enlightened.
It's,
And that's what they,
They used in the,
The yogis use that.
The Lotus is so important.
Yeah.
In my garden,
In my,
In my,
When I'm in it's beautiful.
Basically the Lotus as well is symbolic of moving through the different elements.
So you're starting in the earth.
You're moving through the next chakra,
Which is water.
You're awakening into that sunlight,
Which is fire.
You're moving into your,
Your,
Your lead into the light.
Then you've got the next element,
Which is air.
So the heart is that element of air as you're opening into the sunlight,
Physical sunlight,
And then you're moving through ether and into the super ether beyond that.
So you're opening,
Not just physically,
But spiritually.
Wow.
That is amazing.
That is so,
So,
So beautiful.
Just thank you for writing this wonderful book.
Where can we find your book,
Jenny?
It's on Amazon.
So awakening the Lotus of peace by Jenny Light.
Beautiful.
That is so lovely.
And for these last remaining minutes on this wonderful enlightening interview review.
I know,
Isn't it amazing.
And I just feel this such sense of peace now,
Really wonderful.
And I just like for you to see,
Tell us about how you see humanity's future.
You know,
How do you see this awakening affecting us as we're moving into this new age?
As you say,
We might see a little bit of it just,
You know,
As we,
When we're really old,
But it's going just so many changes.
But I think that the greatest,
Who's to know exactly how this is all going to pan out.
There will be many blips.
And by that,
I mean that there will be times that are difficult,
But that's all part of the birthing process.
The baby is born into the world without some sort of discomfort.
So we see by the mother.
Yeah.
I think the change is going to be one that is going to be felt before we see it out there in the world,
It's going to be fail in each person's heart or soul,
You know,
The pandemic and the lockdown that occurred made us all reassess how we engage with each other.
And I think that's lovely that our relationships to each other are richer than things.
Yes.
It's a total.
I haven't got any premonitions as to exactly how it's all going to pan out.
But what I do feel very strongly is that when this century is finished,
So that's beyond our time,
Joanne,
But when this century is finished,
That we're going to be in a much lighter space.
When I'm meditating,
I bring in the great peace of the future or that great oneness.
I bring it in.
It's already happened.
You know,
There is no past,
Present or future.
That peace is in the future can shine through me into the present moment.
I become like a pore on the peace.
Like a pore as in an aperture.
I become like pouring that peace out into the world and we can all do that.
We can become a simple pore that the divine uses to then exude that peace out into the world as it presently is.
Because we're all part of this great birth awakening.
We're all part.
There's none of us that is exempt.
Exactly.
And that's what it is.
When we feel that peace within,
I give this peace to the world and we become all of us little lights turned on in channels of peace and love.
And that's how we bring that into the outside world.
It's always an inside job first and then we push it out into.
And just not to be perturbed by anything that seems to be dark that's happening because it's always darkness before the light.
You know,
The change.
People don't like change,
But I'm sorry,
But this world is a world of change and it's not our true home.
So we just have to ride the times that are a bit difficult until they're out into the light again.
Wow.
Absolutely beautiful.
Jenny,
It has been such a,
You know,
Enlightening interview with you,
Beautiful soul sister.
And I would just like to say thank you so much for being on The Great Awakening Show.
Oh,
Thank you,
Joanne.
It's just absolutely lovely to be here.
I've enjoyed myself so much.
I think we could chat for hours.
