There’s a unique freedom that can be harnessed in moments when we don’t know what’s coming next. Rather than letting fear take hold in these times of uncertainty, we can channel this energy to work in our favor. Through a visualization practice, we allow ourselves in this meditation to be held and easily guided forward. Music by Narek Mirzaei

Imagine you are walking down a path,

A lightness in your step,

A sureness in your foot.

You keep your eye out to the horizon.

Everything's clear and in sight.

A gentle breeze is at your back,

Moving you forward.

You know where you're headed and you move easily in that direction.

Then at a distance out ahead of you,

A low fog rolls in.

As it nears,

You slow your stride.

The fog grows thicker,

Blurring the landscape.

You slow your steps in response.

Soon you look down and the fog is at your feet.

You can barely see your hands now and the breeze stills.

Unable to see in any direction,

You simply stop walking and allow the fog to softly envelop you.

The fog is comfortably cool and fresh.

You notice how easily you can breathe and a complete calm washes over you.

You feel a sense that the fog is instructing you to relax and give your weight over to it.

As you comply and lie back,

The fog lifts you up effortlessly,

As if you're floating weightless on this thick,

Blanketing cloud.

Your thinking mind returns,

For a moment puzzling.

You thought you knew where you were headed,

But as you've lost all direction,

You're no longer sure.

Without words,

You feel the fog respond to release your concern.

You aren't meant to know just now,

You're only meant to be here in this moment.

The fog that blinds you is also the fog that frees you.

You smile,

Knowing that this is nurturing and liberating you while it readies its guidance.

It comes to you out of love when you hear its message.

The next step,

The way forward,

Is not your job to arrange.

Not knowing is a freedom,

It's the lightness of being.

Not knowing allows you to open to the possibilities of what could happen next,

Instead of following the path of what you believe your next step should be.

Not knowing is an allowance.

You are giving over to a benevolent force that has a clearer perspective than you do on the ground.

Accepting the unknown allows it to lift you up,

While it readies a new way forward on your behalf.

Not knowing is an expansion.

When you pair a state of wonder with an open heart,

All things become possible.

You signal to the universe that you are willing to grow into your next iteration,

The one that serves your highest and greatest good.

Not knowing is all possibilities laid out before you,

Endless forks in the road,

Timeline upon timeline jockeying for position.

Your higher self will only move you into alignment with the one that resonates with your soul's strongest vibration.

Hold on to this sensation of being weightless,

Carefree,

And completely supported.

As you float,

Allow your focus to remain on the bliss of not knowing.

When the fog eventually lifts,

It will set you down with precision,

And the breeze will return at your back to nudge you directly onto the path that is uniquely yours.

In the meantime,

While you linger here in the fog,

Enjoy the liberation that not knowing offers,

And be ready for the delight of discovery when your way ahead appears.
