I am Jennifer Scott and welcome to your sacred night time meditation.
What I know is that having an evening meditation practice is so powerful because not only does it help you wind down and prepare for a deep restorative night's sleep,
But whatever you flow into your awareness just before bed will simmer and deepen in your consciousness through the night.
So by meditating on peace and gratitude,
Your heartfelt intentions and positive affirmations,
You begin to consciously draw more of what you truly want and deserve into your life.
It is best to do this meditation lying down so you can be more deeply relaxed.
So take a moment to find a comfortable lying position and close your eyes.
Take a deep,
Smooth breath in and as you breathe out,
Melt into your heart space.
Good.
Now continue to breathe slowly and deeply.
I invite you to imagine that you are on a peaceful retreat in the majestic mountains of the far east.
For your evening meditation,
You have come to the sacred temple which sits at the edge of a beautiful mountain lake and you can hear the sound of the water gently lapping against the shoreline and it feels deeply relaxing.
As you lie here on the soft,
Cushiony mat with your head supported by a soft pillow,
You are soothed by the gentle breeze flowing through the open doors and the glow of a hundred sacred candles throughout the temple.
You are surrounded here by your soul brothers and soul sisters who have also gathered here for their evening meditation.
Here you feel your oneness with all of life.
As you lie here peacefully,
Allow your entire body to relax a little deeper.
Let your body melt into your mat and feel that you are completely cradled and supported by Mother Earth below.
As you allow yourself to be held by the feminine earth below,
You also feel the presence of Father Sky in the starry night above,
Watching over,
Protecting and guiding you with his light.
When you feel your feminine and masculine energies coming back into balance,
Your yin and yang coming into harmony.
Now I invite you to call to mind an experience that you are deeply grateful for.
That experience can be from today,
Or from the past week or month,
Or perhaps years ago.
See that experience in vivid color.
Feel the positive emotions that you felt.
And now let your gratitude for that experience radiate from your heart center.
That's good.
Now bring to mind a second experience that you are deeply grateful for.
See the colors that you saw.
Let the feelings of joy,
Happiness,
Love,
Bliss fill you up.
Now let the gratitude that you feel for that experience fill up your whole being until you are radiating with that gratitude.
Good.
Now bring to mind a third memory that you are truly grateful for.
As that memory naturally flows forward,
What vivid colors do you see?
What positive feelings do you feel?
Allow a gentle smile to come across your face for the immense gratitude you feel for that experience.
That's beautiful.
On this sacred evening,
As you lie here in meditation in the temple,
Allow yourself to come back into deep connection with your heart.
In my listening to this Sanskrit mantra,
Which I'm going to recite for you,
That means I attune to my heart's deepest desires.
So as I recite the mantra for you,
Allow the sacred,
Ancient energy of the words to permeate your being.
I'm cleam sow.
I'm cleam sow.
I'm cleam sow.
I'm cleam sow.
I'm cleam sow.
I'm cleam sow.
I'm cleam sow.
I'm cleam sow.
I'm cleam sow.
Now in the quietness of your heart,
Complete the following sentence.
What my heart truly desires right now is.
Now you're going to translate your heart's desire into an I am statement.
So for example,
If your heartfelt desire is to be happy,
Then you will say,
I am happy.
Go ahead.
Now repeat your affirmation in the quietness of your heart three more times.
Good.
Now release it up into the starry night sky.
Release it to the universe and trust that your prayer has already been answered.
Beautiful.
As you continue to relax deeper and deeper,
I am going to perform a sacred energy clearing ritual with some sage,
Which the ancients have used for thousands of years to cleanse your mind,
Body and spirit.
So I have a bundle of sage here in my hand and I'm going to light it with a match now and begin to let it burn and smoke.
And then with your permission,
Through the ethereal realm,
I am going to slowly trace your aura with the sage and the sacred smoke three times in total,
Clearing your entire being of any low vibration.
Any energies or patterns in consciousness that you can now release in the service of Now that your energy field is cleared for a deep and restorative sleep,
In the quietness of your heart,
I invite you to repeat the following affirmations.
I am cleansed.
I am deeply relaxed.
I treasure the experience of rest and sleep.
I honor myself with a healthy sleep routine each day.
Through the night,
My body and my well-being is healed,
Restored and rejuvenated.
I am healthy.
I am whole.
I am pure love.
I am pure light.
I listen to the whisper of my heart's desires.
I live from the place of my soul.
I live in the peace and joy of the present moment.
Through this night,
I release everything that is no longer serving my highest good.
I am happy.
I am blessed.
I am safe.
I am protected.
I am loved.
I am compassionate and gentle toward myself and others.
I am free.
I am powerful.
I am peaceful.
I am stepping into my greatness.
I am living the life of my highest dreams.
I am magnificent.
