And welcome to your full moon sound bath to release anything no longer serving you and renew your spirit,
Mind,
And body.
The Buddha said,
Every morning we are born again,
What we do today is what matters most.
I will extend this to say that every lunar cycle we are born again in harmony with the moon and how we behold that opportunity can be the start of a new life for us.
Let me expand on this a little more.
Since ancient times,
In cultures across the world,
People have honored the lunar cycles in sacred ritual and ceremony.
The new moon is said to be a time of new beginnings and fresh intentions,
Whereas the full moon is said to be a time to release old patterns and to cleanse our spirit,
Mind,
Body of anything no longer serving us,
Old beliefs,
Feelings,
Habits,
And conditions in the body.
For optimal benefit,
This is intended as a close-eyed practice.
So begin by sitting in a comfortable position.
Breathe slowly and deeply in and out through your nose.
Relax your facial muscles,
Becoming more natural.
Relax your neck and shoulders,
And close your eyes.
Feel yourself soften into your authentic inner self.
The music you hear is nature music with binaural beats,
Which is scientifically proven to help you relax deeply,
Slow your brainwaves,
And connect with your subconscious brain where old memories and emotions are stored and where deep release and healing can occur.
Also,
The slowing of your brainwaves puts your entire mind-body into a deeply therapeutic healing state.
So for a few moments,
Allow yourself to be bathed in the soothing sounds.
You are feeling more and more deeply relaxed.
Now imagine you are sitting at the edge of a still lake at night.
The weather is perfect,
With only the gentlest breeze in the air.
The sky is completely clear,
And the unusually large linen moon is reflected in the glassy water,
So that the lake embodies the moon,
And its brightness and power are multiplied.
Allow your eyes of inner vision to take in this magnificent scene for a few moments and start to feel its energy.
Now imagine yourself becoming energetically connected with the lake so that there is a direct channel of communication between you.
Take a few moments and let this channel be established.
I invite you now to become aware of any mental emotional patterns that are no longer serving your highest good that you want to release.
Some examples could be worry,
Anxiety,
Guilt,
Shame,
Anger,
Regret,
Self-hatred,
Self-deprecation or hiding,
Denial,
Blame,
Unconsciousness or lack of presence,
Or anything else that comes forward for you now.
Choose only the strongest ones.
When you've identified those mental emotional patterns,
Use the direct channel you've established and release them into the lake and the moonlight.
Let them be absorbed and returned to the nothingness from which they came.
I will give you space.
That's good.
Now let flow forward any behaviors that are no longer serving you that you're ready to release.
Some examples could be addictions to food,
Alcohol,
Drugs,
Devices,
Social media,
Shopping,
Procrastination,
Overworking,
Pleasing,
Laziness,
Lack of boundaries,
Self-harm of any kind,
Overconsumption,
Avoidance,
Poor nutrition,
Hoarding,
Staying up too late,
Or anything else that comes forward for you now.
And again,
Choose only the strongest ones.
When you've landed on those behaviors that are no longer serving you,
Use that direct channel you've established with the lake and the moonlight and just release them.
Let them go and be absorbed.
I'll give you space.
And remember you're not alone here.
The universe is here to support you,
So you can even imagine the powerful energy of the moon and the lake drawing those behaviors out of your being.
That's so powerful.
Now consider any physical conditions in your body that you are willing and ready to release.
That could be an injury,
Stress,
Chronic conditions,
Or any form of dis-ease.
Now,
Before you release this condition or conditions,
I invite you to consider what wisdom this condition has come to offer you.
What have you learned from this condition?
What can you learn?
Then you can say thank you to the condition.
You can say,
I have received your message and your wisdom.
And now you can say with me,
I release you.
And let it be absorbed by the moonlight and the lake.
I'll give you space.
See or feel the last remnants of this condition being drawn out of your being and your body by the power of the moon and the lake.
That's amazing.
Now I invite you to finally become aware of anything that you want to forgive yourself for.
Now with me here to witness and support you,
Surrender that up to the universe.
Let it be taken from you and absorbed into the power of the moonlight.
Give it away.
You can even use a physical motion if it feels right,
Like you're throwing it or pushing it toward the moonlight,
Getting it out of your energy body.
And you can even say,
Take this from me.
I release it to you.
And then repeat the following affirmation after me.
You can place one hand on your heart.
I am grateful for my mistakes,
For they have made me compassionate,
Strong,
Clear,
And wise.
And then repeat,
I am forgiven.
Thank you.
That's beautiful.
We're going to do a final release through the breath.
So take a slow,
Deep inhale through your nose.
And then breathe out softly with a sigh.
Let go.
We'll do two more.
This next one is going to be stronger and more emphatic.
So take a deep breath in through your nose.
And sigh it out with a big sigh.
Really let go.
And then one more time,
Returning to softness.
Deep breath in through your nose.
And a soft sigh out.
Allow me to offer a few blessings to you.
And you can just listen and take these into your heart,
Into your entire being.
Bless your life.
Bless your challenges.
Bless your mistakes.
Bless your struggles.
Bless your fears.
Bless your body.
Bless your loved ones.
Bless your dreams.
Bless your amazing and extraordinary future.
Now that you have cleared this space inside yourself,
I want you to know there is nothing but pure potentiality for you.
In fact,
This is the first moment and the first day of the rest of your beautiful life.
You can use this same practice again any time there's a full moon to release and reset.
I acknowledge you for making your whole spirit,
Mind,
Body well-being a priority and taking part in this practice today.
