Let's touch on something that everyone says they want,
Balance.
Balance is a bit of a tricky word for me though,
You know,
Because when we try to get into balance,
We almost immediately come out of it.
See,
Balance has to be so exact,
So even,
That as soon as we start to do,
Well,
Anything,
Then it throws us off balance.
Anything can disturb our balance in our way of being,
In our physicality,
In our spiritual sense,
Emotionally,
Mentally,
Things are constantly changing.
It's impermanence.
So it's almost impossible to truly achieve perfect balance.
And so what if we thought of it instead as coming into harmony,
Harmony with the self,
Harmony with our environment and with each other,
Coming into alignment with our true values,
Passions and interests.
But I am going to use the word balance as a seven-step process for achieving balance,
For achieving that harmony and coming into alignment.
And it'll take us through seven steps to transform stress into ease.
Ease is that place where we can actually feel empowered,
Aligned and activated in our truth,
In harmony with ourselves.
And so let's go through balance and what it can actually represent.
B is boundaries.
And that's what starts us off.
It's the first step to transform stress into ease.
And that is to establish clear boundaries.
And boundaries doesn't need to be something that contracts us thinking now we're going to set up these walls and maybe we'll miss out on something or hurt someone or someone will experience rejection.
We fear that.
And so we don't necessarily want to reinforce boundaries.
And yet when you do put that into practice and establish those clear boundaries,
Then you're actually creating freedom,
Freedom to move as you want to,
To do the things you truly love.
And you know what?
That actually radiates in a really positive way to everyone around you.
So then harmony is actually created instead of those walls.
So who and what you invite into your space will deeply impact how you stay focused on your path.
So make sure to choose people,
Work conditions,
The right environment for you that would help you grow so that it'll help you thrive.
And this includes activities that are life supportive for you.
All of this will nourish your well-being physically,
Emotionally,
Mentally,
And spiritually.
So be sure to create sacred space in your home as well to nurture your soul as you come back to center.
A is acknowledge.
And this is an important next step as you create awareness of what is and isn't working in your life,
Attuning to your true needs,
Knowing your limits,
What your values are,
And to acknowledge and accept what resources will help you discern what can stay and what needs to go and what will actually help you to grow.
L is to leverage support.
And it's an important third step as well to gather strength,
Support from like-hearted people,
And to access guidance from your higher power.
One thing to also be aware of is to only share your dreams and your deepest feelings and your hopes with those you can fully trust.
This is a way to protect your dreams and your ideas until you've really gained momentum in them and are ready to share it with the world.
So keep it close to your heart in the meantime.
Really attune to your own natural rhythms,
Your limits,
Your values.
A is to arrange a date.
And it's the fourth step in achieving balance to set aside some time to meet your tribe,
Your community,
To connect with your mate or your partner,
Or to engage in self-care practices.
Mark this in on your calendar as you would any other meeting or appointment so that you really dedicate the same amount of attention to yourself and your loved ones that you do for your work and your business.
N is next steps.
Knowing what to do to make sure you maintain ease and balance.
This means you need to create a new habit or a routine that will show your commitment to your well-being.
It might mean making regular dates with what you chose back in step number four.
Or it could mean that you decide to engage in regular self-care practices,
Perhaps on a daily or even weekly basis.
It might also mean that you dedicate an hour a day or once a week to write,
Create,
Maybe dance,
Sing,
Walk in nature,
Try something new.
Or what else can you put on your list?
Maybe you have a pen and paper handy now where you can start writing things down.
What would you use if you had an hour more a day or an hour more a week?
This could become your hour of power where you really get to delve into what's true and meaningful for you,
That you're passionate about,
That you love to do,
And this empowers you.
So create a list,
Bring some ideas,
And then choose maybe one,
Two,
Or even three to start with for now.
The next step might also mean moving ahead on a bigger project.
Maybe you have a strong sense of purpose or a plan that you've been putting off because it seemed too big or too important to take on right now because you're so overwhelmed with everything else that you want to dedicate and devote certain space and time to that.
Well,
Why not create those conditions that would support you in that?
You know,
You can even break it down and decide on the next safe step to move it forward.
So just one thing that you can do right now as the next safe step to move it forward.
You'd be amazed at how empowered you will feel and how much energy you will actually have just from doing this.
The C in balance is to create that space in your schedule and in your day.
So this is the sixth step now to transform stress into ease so that you can allow time in your schedule to do what you truly love to do.
You know,
Your to-do list should only reflect what is most aligned with your true values,
Passions,
And interests.
So take a look at your current to-do list and see how you're doing with that.
If it's not like how you'd be spending your time and energy,
Then start making some changes,
Some shifts,
So that it does align.
This is where you find the balance and come into harmony.
This will enrich your life outside of work and include your work,
And it'll allow you to bring some new energy into your work so that you're more productive as a result.
In fact,
You'll start to notice that you become passionately productive because you're only progressing with the things that truly move you,
That you feel inspired to take action on,
And that you love to do.
Sometimes we have to move from obligation and responsibility,
But more often we can start choosing how we want to be spending our time and energy.
So taking this course of action will further empower you rather than drain you.
And then talking about being feeling drained,
Let's look at energy healing.
That's the E in balance.
So this is the seventh step now to achieving balance and transforming stress into ease,
And that's to book regular bodywork sessions.
Could be massage,
But I'm talking about something a little more energetic here.
So attending to your spiritual and emotional needs,
Which will truly keep your energy balanced.
It'll also help your chakras harmonize and raise your vibration to attract what your heart and soul desires for your life.
So go ahead and take some time to find a reputable healing practitioner.
Maybe you know one already.
Maybe you are one yourself.
Go with what resonates with you and book a session.
Maybe it'll be an integrated energy therapy,
Reiki,
Or sound healing.
Perhaps it's body talk or therapeutic touch.
There are so many different modalities out there.
So go and have a look at them.
See what resonates for you.
See what your soul is calling for and book that time.
Just as you book times for your body,
Your medical needs,
The dentist,
Your pet,
Your children,
Repairs for your home.
Why not for your spirit too?
So these seven steps to achieving balance will help you transform stress into ease and they don't need to be followed in any particular order.
There's simply a list to guide some life affirmative action for you to take so that you can nurture your soul and nourish your spirit and really free your spirit to direct the life that you are meant to live.
