Hello,
I'm Janessa,
And I'm here to guide you into a practice of developing your bubble of peace.
This practice is designed to help you create a calm,
Steady internal space that you can return to again and again,
Especially during difficult or overwhelming moments.
Before we begin,
A couple of important notes.
Please only listen to this recording when you are in a safe,
Comfortable place where you can fully relax.
Do not listen while driving or operating machinery.
This track uses binaural beats,
Which are most effective when listening to with headphones.
If you have them available,
Go ahead and put them on now for the best experience.
Now begin by finding a comfortable position,
Either sitting or lying down.
Take a slow,
Deep breath in,
And gently exhale.
Again,
Inhale slowly,
And exhale,
Letting your shoulders soften.
One more time,
Breathing in,
And out.
Now allow your breathing to settle into a natural rhythm.
As you continue to breathe,
Gently bring awareness to your body.
Notice the points of contact where your body meets the chair,
The floor,
Or whatever is beneath you.
With each exhale,
Allow yourself to soften just a little more.
You might begin to notice a gentle heaviness or a sense of sinking as your body starts to relax.
Now bringing awareness to your forehead,
Just allowing it to relax,
Moving downward,
Relaxing your eyes,
Your jaw,
Letting your neck and shoulders release,
Softening your chest,
Your arms,
Your hands,
Relaxing your stomach,
Your hips,
Your legs,
And finally your feet.
Your whole body now is settling,
Supported,
At ease.
Now imagine a soft,
Gentle light above you.
It's warm,
Steady,
Calming.
And as this light reaches you,
You begin to feel a quiet sense of ease spreading through your body.
And as you imagine this light,
It starts to gently surround you,
Forming a soft,
Shimmering bubble,
Your bubble of peace.
This bubble is steady,
Protective,
And entirely yours.
Take a moment to notice what this bubble looks like around you.
Inside this space,
Your nervous system can relax.
There's nothing you need to manage right now.
No pressure,
No urgency,
No demands.
Only calm is allowed here.
Take a slow breath in,
And as you exhale,
Allow any tension or stress to drift outside of the bubble.
Within this bubble,
You are safe to simply be.
There is nothing you need to solve,
Fix,
Or figure out in this moment.
Your body knows how to settle when it is given the space to do so.
You might gently say to yourself,
In this moment,
I am safe.
I can let go.
Let those words land softly without effort.
If thoughts arise,
That's okay.
Just notice them and let them float to the edge of the bubble where they fade away.
Each breath brings you deeper into calm,
And each exhale softens your body even more.
This bubble of peace is something you can return to any time.
As you sit here now,
Notice what it feels like in your body.
The calm,
The softness,
The steadiness.
This is your anchor.
At any point in your day,
You can pause,
Take a slow breath,
And allow this bubble to gently form around you again.
It does not require effort,
Just awareness and permission to slow down.
The more you practice,
The more natural this becomes.
In a moment,
You'll slowly return to the present,
Bringing this calm and steadiness back with you.
Becoming aware of your body again.
Gently bringing movement back,
Wiggling your fingers and toes,
Taking a deeper,
Energizing breath,
Opening your eyes,
Feeling calm,
Grounded,
And present.
You've just practiced creating your bubble of peace.
I encourage you to return to this practice regularly,
And begin using your bubble throughout your day whenever you need support.
This is a skill your body can learn,
And each time you come back to it,
It becomes more accessible,
More familiar,
And more powerful.
