In these troubled times, cultivating our own sense of peace and extending it to that part of our world within our influence has never been more important. We can expand the opportunities to do so through the foundational practice of mindfulness, focusing on the breath, practiced throughout the day with the aid of an hourly charm. Each hour, with the reminder, we can come back to the breath, come back to ourselves, and remember that cultivating peace here, now, is what the world now most needs.
