Being motivated.
If you set goals in life that are aligned with your sense of purpose or what you deeply care about,
You will be motivated to sustain the focus of your time and energy towards the achievement of your goals.
When your goals are not connected to your heart,
When your goals are connected to your heart,
Where your deepest values are found,
You will easily be focused,
Encouraged and enthusiastic about the value of the goal.
Because now I want you to feel the energy that flows in your body.
Energy flows from the top of the head through the entire body down to the feet.
I want you to feel the tips of your feet right now,
Wiggle them if you need to.
If you feel them,
There's energy there.
Gradually let that energy flow upwards as you move your focus through the bottom of the feet to the heels and then up through the ankles,
Through the shins to the knees and through the thighs to the hip region.
And from there through the abdomen,
Pass the stomach to the chest,
To the shoulders.
Now feel the tips of your fingers,
Touch them if you need to.
And then gradually let the focus of your attention pass through the knuckles,
Palm,
Wrists,
Forearms,
Elbows,
Upper arm to the shoulders.
From both sides of the shoulders to the bottom of the neck,
Up through the neck to the back of the head,
To the top of the head,
Feeling your scalp,
To the front of the head,
Your forehead,
Feeling the skin on your face,
Let this settle right behind the eyes.
Ask yourself this question,
Who am I?
And then ask yourself,
Where am I on this journey through life?
And then ask yourself,
What are my resources?
In other words,
What do you have with you?
These are the foundational questions in finding your purpose.
And there's no greater realization than knowing that the purpose to life is being what I am.
