When your mind keeps circling the same problem, it can feel as though thinking a little harder might finally produce the certainty you’re looking for. This meditation offers another possibility. Rather than trying to stop your thoughts or force your mind to become quiet, you’ll practice noticing worry and overthinking without automatically following wherever they lead. Through mindfulness, body awareness, and gentle attention to the urge to solve, plan, predict, and rehearse, the practice creates a little more space around mental chatter and uncertainty. Designed for moments of worry, stress, rumination, or an overactive mind, this meditation draws lightly from Buddhist mindfulness practice while remaining practical and accessible. You don’t need to clear your mind. You’re simply practicing the possibility that every thought does not require an answer.
