For anyone who holds everything together and has forgotten how to set it down. This is a practice in letting go, built around a simple truth your body already knows. Every time you breathe out, you release something without any effort at all. You just stop holding. From there, we turn toward the things you carry through the day, a worry, a task, a version of yourself you work to keep up, and practice loosening the grip by a single degree. Not forcing anything away, and not making yourself feel peaceful. Just opening your hand underneath the weight, so you are no longer the one holding it up. The practice draws on an old contemplative understanding that our suffering lives in the holding, not in the thing itself. It was made for high achievers, and for anyone who confuses letting go with losing control. Find a quiet place, and if you can, use headphones.
