Are you ready to clean?

Let's do this.

I'm giving you the stone-cold beat.

And how about a little black-tie piano?

You and I,

Once a week,

We got this.

The law of attraction will help us clean in a positive mood.

We're going to discuss during this meditation as we clean.

We're going to keep it real,

But we're going to discuss.

It's gonna sound a lot like that things already are,

Even if they are not yet.

You catch my drift?

We're going to speak about our cleaning as if it's done.

We're going to speak about our cleaning as if it is complete.

And even if your home isn't the home that you would desire,

Even if your possessions are not exactly the thing that you would love to make sparkle and shine,

We're going to act as if it is so.

This is the power of the law of attraction.

We get to choose our thoughts about cleaning,

And we get to decide our emotions that will follow.

It's not being fake.

It's called faithing it.

Yeah,

Faithing it.

I'm not asking you to fake something you don't like.

I'm asking you to decide for yourself that you are going to enjoy the heck out of cleaning with me right now.

Here we go.

My home works with me to create perfect working order.

My home and I work together to get the job done.

My home shows me exactly what needs to be done in what order to do it.

I use my time efficiently.

My home is in perfect working order.

My possessions are things that I treasure.

I'm only drawn to purchase things that I highly value so that I desire to keep them in tip-top shape.

When I look around me,

I see piles of potential ready to be sorted in a loving manner.

When I feel around me,

I feel the texture of change about to happen by the power of my own fingertips.

When things are out of order,

It just tells me that things are loved and getting used.

Nothing in my home sits by the wayside.

Everything has a purpose and fulfills its potential.

Everything in my home gets utilized.

There's nothing that goes to waste in this home.

And the more my home stays in perfect working order,

The better and easier I can maintain my possessions.

The less and less I need to spend on updating things in my home,

And the less and less I need to spend in overall maintenance.

You see,

My home and I work together.

We got this.

Sometimes,

My home tells me I need to minimize.

I'm sensitive and I listen right away.

Today,

I'm going to minimize 10 things,

Or one thing from each room.

And when I walk into that room,

Whatever my eyes cast on right away,

It tells me,

You know,

You've outlived your purpose.

It's gonna go.

It's gonna find another purpose in another home for someone that will value and treasure it just as much as I did.

You know,

When I'm out looking at things that I could bring into my home,

My eye only casts upon things that really will contribute to the positive energy in my home.

The practical use.

I only search for things of high value,

And I find them at the most excellent prices.

I'm creative about my approach to decorating.

I see the hidden potential of things that others might simply pass by.

I can turn trash into treasure,

But I know when it's worth the effort or not.

I pick something up now,

And I touch it with love and care and concern.

I look at the bottom,

The sides,

The tops,

The insides,

And the outsides.

I remember why I bought it,

And I think about how I've used it,

And how I might utilize it in the future.

I say thank you to that item.

I clean it gently,

And then I give it back to its home,

And if it doesn't have a home,

I stop right now to find it a home.

I set aside time for cleaning my home,

Where I'm not rushed.

I schedule it in in advance.

I make a date with myself,

And a reward to follow.

Today I think my reward will be,

And this is where you fill in the blank.

Mm-hmm,

I like that reward.

And I set a time limit.

Yep,

I don't have to clean all day.

I've got better things to do.

And so when this song comes to a close,

I will feel complete.

Yes,

Mission complete at the end of this meditation.

Cleaning fits into my life.

I don't fashion my life around cleaning.

There's a time for it,

And then guess what?

We're done.

All right,

Now let's simplify this meditation.

We've set our purpose.

We know where we're going.

I'm gonna feed you a few beautiful statements for you to repeat as you clean,

And I'll be cleaning with you.

Because you can be sure I wouldn't make this meditation if I didn't need it myself,

Friends.

Okay,

Here we go.

Repeat after me.

My home is my safe place.

Any possession that isn't totally safe,

I immediately determine and remove it from my home right now.

My home is my safe haven in the world,

And that makes me enthused about cleaning my own home.

My home is full of rich and meaningful possessions.

I wouldn't want but to keep them in top-notch working order.

My home is my place to be creative.

Everything falls into perfect working order.

Within these walls,

There is order.

When I see paperwork,

I take a deep breath and I gently run my fingers over it like water.

Papers sort themselves out underneath my fingers,

And when I see papers that don't belong,

I easily dispose of them with a smile on my face.

That's less for me to do later.

I am looking forward to letting go of something today.

I gaze with curiosity now.

What is it that served its purpose?

Mm-hmm,

There it is.

Thank you,

Item.

Now you may go.

I'm giving you to a new home.

Does not feel good.

My home is in perfect working order.

All of my possessions have a purpose and a clear intent,

And all of my things have their own home that makes sense within my larger home.

It's easy to find a place for everything,

And it's easy to find everything in its place.

I feel uplifted when I'm in my home.

If I want to have guests,

I will,

But if I want my home to be just for me and my loved ones,

I will choose that.

Either way,

My home easily stays in a condition that I'm proud to show to the world.

I am proud of the things that I've surrounded myself with.

Each item has a beautiful memory.

When I clean each item,

I get back in touch with why I possess it.

My heart fills up as I get to clean and remember each beautiful memory.

Instead of frustration,

I am joyful.

Pet hair says,

You're loved.

Dirty diapers say,

You're loved.

Dirty dishes say,

We're full.

Things that have expired in the fridge remind me we have more than enough.

We have enough to share.

Dirty sheets say to me,

Man,

I sleep well.

Won't it feel nice to have those fresh sheets on?

Yeah.

My home is in perfect working order.

By the power of my own two hands,

I accomplished this.

And not a second longer than is needed.

My home becomes sparkling again by the power of my own two hands.

I love the products that I've chosen to clean my home.

Even my cleaning products make sense and are organized.

I buy what I can.

I buy what I'm able.

And I let it be enough.

That's right.

I buy what I can to clean my home.

And I buy what I'm able.

And I allow that to be more than enough.

I'm curious about new ways to clean my home,

Or methods that might be out there in the world.

But instead of obsessing,

Or mimicking or copying someone else,

I find my own way.

Because my home only needs my own way.

In fact,

My home and I are partners in this.

My home loves to be shined and spiffed,

Polished.

And I love that sensation of resting after it's all done with my chosen reward.

Mmm,

It's gonna be great.

I check in with my mood now,

And I notice this is easy.

This is flowing.

This is different.

And I like it.

I could clean like this anytime I need.

And I could feel like this when I clean,

Every time I clean.

I think I've discovered something good.

That my home is in perfect working order.

And if I can't accomplish it all today,

There will be another time soon.

For each and every task.

Yes,

My home is in perfect working order.

I've surrounded myself with things that make sense for my lifestyle.

And if something doesn't have a place or a meaning,

I easily let it go to a new home and a new place of meaning.

The more I give,

The more I share,

The more comes back to me in the form of new possessions,

New inspirations.

Today,

I'm looking for 10 items,

Or maybe one item per room.

And I am going to allow them to simply go.

I make a little box or bag without any drama.

There it goes.

Yep,

I'm better off.

I feel so light when I let go of possessions that have served me well.

I say thank you.

Goodbye.

Well done.

And I move it on.

I do not allow buildup in my home.

I do not allow anything that doesn't keep me healthy and safe in my home.

I notice easily if my home is telling me something's off.

My home is beginning to shine.

My home is a black tie home.

Casual and cool,

But with its black tie on.

My home is clean.

And my home stays clean easily.

It's phenomenal to me how with my change of perspective,

My home stays clean.

I easily inspire other people around me to keep their part of our home clean as well.

And when things become unclean,

It's a sign that we have useful things with a purpose,

And that we're bringing them to their full potential.

The fanciest home I could imagine gets dirty.

The most organized environment in this world gets dirty.

The laws of the universe say that things go from order to chaos.

And I'm fine with that.

Because every time I get back in touch with my home,

By ordering it and straightening it,

I'm reminded of the value of all that I own.

I don't see myself in opposition to the laws of nature that cause things to go into disarray.

No,

Actually,

I think of myself in a dance.

A smooth,

Echoing dance.

Because each time I get to revisit those dirty dishes,

I'm reminded of how much we have to eat.

And each time I notice that the toys are again spread around the house,

A smile comes to my face.

Because my children,

Those who I love,

My partners or my spouse,

They're loving their items.

They're using them.

We're getting joy out of our things.

There's a time for order,

And there's a time for disarray.

And there's joy in each one.

I am aware,

Calmly aware,

That transitions can cause me pain.

That's why I put things in order again,

Choosing to have zero anxiety.

I choose to pick things up off that floor off that floor with gratitude for the use of the thing.

I choose to sweep and move things around with gratitude for my body.

Yes,

I'm up and around.

I'm up and using my body.

I'm exercising.

I am making things whole and better.

And this is a sign of a healthy ecosystem.

I take a break when I need without pushing myself too far at any one time.

Cleaning works around my needs and not vice versa.

Sometimes when I'm organizing things,

I run across an item that I've completely forgotten existed in my world.

And that brings me to a little moment of joy,

A little pause to say,

Wow,

You know,

That was a beautiful memory.

You see,

I drive this process.

My goal is the objective here.

And my goal is not perfection.

My goal is that my home reflects me and reflects the people who dwell here with me.

And so I shine up that mirror that reflects us back to ourselves.

Any sticky fingerprints on the wall or on the mirror remind me that little ones are exploring this environment,

That they learned here.

It's so amazing that I can offer that.

You see,

My home is in perfect working order.

That's right.

All of my possessions all of my possessions serve me,

Serve those around me and serve a purpose.

I hydrate myself while I clean.

I break for snacks.

I keep it lighthearted.

If I need a moment to detach,

I detach.

I know that cleaning is not the end in itself.

It's a means to an end.

Cleaning is human.

The richest person I know gets dirty.

The most successful person I know has to clean.

At the end of the day,

I am normal.

I am normal.

I embrace my humanity.

My home is in such beautiful array.

My home is smooth in its function.

I take a deep breath right now to gaze around me at my progress.

Oh,

I'm doing so well with this.

I feel energized.

I free my home from anything blocking it.

My home desires to flow and I desire to flow with it.

And now here's the part where you really create your own words,

Your own version.

Your own version.

You're going to hear me do something called verbal nodding.

That's a therapy thing.

I'm kind of giving you support for whatever you're going to create for the next few minutes.

Ready?

And go.

You got it.

Give me more.

You are so right.

That's right.

Mm-hmm.

Well said,

My friend.

Well said.

Give me just a bit more about your home.

That's right.

Give me another 10 seconds.

Really positive focus now.

That's right.

You got this.

That's right.

And take a deep breath.

Stretch.

Let's take stock of our progress now.

Look around you,

Putting down all the supplies for just a moment.

What do you see?

Have you changed things already?

Now check in with your mood.

What is it like for you to clean in this perspective?

I agree.

It's always nice to have a friend around to clean with you.

So let's just do a bit more together.

Mm-hmm.

All right.

What does your instinct tell you you should focus on next?

Okay,

Here we go.

You're getting so good at this.

It's as if you're a natural.

Dwell for a second on cleaning in the future.

How enjoyable that will be rather than the way it was before.

You might notice that I'm avoiding using negative terms because,

According to the law of attraction,

Which is a natural law,

It functions all the time in every scenario.

When we speak about the negative things,

Well,

We're drawing them into reality.

And when we speak positively about things,

We're also drawing that as if it was magnetized.

This is something we do with our thoughts,

And we can choose to do with our emotions as well.

We are not the sum total of our thoughts and emotions.

They are meant to serve us.

Mm-hmm.

And so to maximize this ability,

Let's continue focusing on attracting positive things about housecleaning.

I would like you to focus on positive words.

Remember,

When we say the negative word,

Even if we're saying,

I don't want that negative word,

The law of attraction still treats the negative word like a magnet.

Much more efficient for our nervous systems if we only state the positive.

Now,

I'm improvising this meditation,

And you might notice that there are pauses.

Mm-hmm.

Usually,

This is when I have to readjust my own mind because I was about to say something as a negative rather than a positive.

All right.

I'd like to do one more minute of guided meditation,

And then I'm going to have you just clean in silence if that's all right.

See how you maintain that positivity.

See how many times you need to touch back in with the touchstone of moving things forward in a positive manner.

All right.

Let's do one more round of repeating those beautiful statements together,

And then you'll be on your own for a few minutes.

You got this.

My home is in perfect working order.

All of my possessions serve me well.

Thoughts about my home and my environment bring me ease.

Everything I allow in this home has a place.

If it doesn't have a place,

I don't allow it.

Everything I allow in this home,

You can find in its place.

Just like that old-time wisdom,

I have a place for everything and everything in its place.

This process of tidying my environment brings me freedom of mind,

Leads to moments of deeper relaxation and better focus.

And that's why I deeply enjoy the process of getting my home into perfect working order.

I listen to this every time I feel myself procrastinating on cleaning. Then I follow it up with your music track. It really keeps me focused.
