Good morning,
My name is Jan and I will be gently shifting you into a new state of mind for the day ahead.
So wherever you may find yourself in this moment,
Whether you're still lying in bed comfortably under the covers or whether you are perhaps already out of bed and seated,
I want you to gradually bring your awareness to your body.
How does your body feel this morning?
Perhaps it's feeling a little resistant to starting the day.
Perhaps it needs a little more rest and that is fine.
We're here to honour and respect what our bodies have to tell us.
So allow yourself to go within and investigate the energy that you are bringing to this day.
If you haven't done so already,
You may gradually close the eyes and I'll notice your feet.
Can you feel any sensations in your feet?
Can you direct energy to your feet?
And as you direct energy to this location,
Allow some of it to seep out from your feet and enter into the ground and connect you to Mother Earth.
Can you allow yourself to form a circular connection to Mother Earth where your energy connects into the Earth and the Earth's energy flows back into you?
And as this energy flows into you,
Notice it begin to travel up your legs,
Slowly at first and then gradually a little faster until this energy has made its way all the way up your legs to your pelvis and allow this energy to ground you for the day ahead.
If there's anything playing on your mind,
Hand it over to this flow of energy and allow it to seep back into the Earth.
Allow your mind to be clear and keep your attention focused on this flow of energy in your legs and in your hips.
Now see if you can ever so gently coax this energy up your body and become aware of any sensations throughout your belly and chest as this energy rises.
There are no right or wrong sensations,
Simply notice and allow.
Now allow this flow of energy to permeate the entirety of your torso.
Feel this energy in your torso,
In your arms,
In your chest,
In your back,
In your belly and notice if the energy in this region is any different from the energy in your legs.
Maybe it is,
Maybe it isn't.
And now allow these two energies in the lower half of your body and the upper half join together and fully merge.
See your body from a neck down as one and notice how your body doesn't end at your feet,
It continues down into the Earth and notice how you are drawing energy from the Earth.
Notice how your body could be thought of as a battery.
Any feelings of tiredness,
Of unease,
Of sluggishness quickly get swept away by the energy flowing into you from the Earth.
And now finally allow this energy to move into your head and as it does notice how your mind instantly becomes quiet,
How this energy soothes and relaxes your mind.
Whilst at the same time stimulating it and sharpening it,
Any concerns,
Doubts,
Fears simply fall away effortlessly and your mind feels at peace.
And now from this place of mental clarity begin to think ahead to the upcoming day.
What is it that you are most excited about?
In what new and empowering ways can you show up into the world?
How can you shine your unique beautiful light a little brighter today?
Now ever so gradually you may release the connection of energy between yourself and Mother Earth,
Thanking Mother Earth for sharing her energy with you and gradually coming fully back into your body feeling recharged and brimming with energy and feeling ready to step fully into the day ahead.
If you feel called to,
You may wiggle your hands and your feet,
Move your body in any way that feels good for you and when you are ready you may arrive fully back into your body and open your eyes.
