This meditation draws inspiration from Matthew 7:13-14 TPT: "Enter through the narrow gate; for the gate is wide and the way is broad that leads to destruction, and there are many who enter through it. For the gate is small and the way is narrow that leads to life, and there are few who find it." Let us engage in this practice by visualizing ourselves choosing the correct path that leads to eternal life.

Greetings and welcome to our meditative session.

My name is James.

Today our focus will be meditating on the scripture Matthew 7,

13 to 14 in the Passion Translation.

Enter through the narrow gate because the wide gate and broad path is the way that leads to destruction.

Nearly everyone chooses the crowded road.

The narrow gate and the difficult way leads to eternal life,

So few even find it.

As you settle into a comfortable position,

Take a deep breath in and let it out slowly.

With each breath,

Feel yourself become more relaxed and more centered.

Imagine standing at a crossroads of two paths.

One is wide,

With many people walking along it,

Seemingly easy and inviting.

The other is narrow,

Less traveled and requires your full attention.

Visualize yourself stepping onto the narrow path.

It's not the easiest choice,

But it's the one that leads to true life.

Feel the sense of purpose that comes with this decision.

Just take a few moments now and meditate on it.

Now,

Acknowledge the challenges of this path.

It's not always going to be easy,

But it will be rewarding.

With each step,

You grow stronger,

More resilient,

And more aligned with your true self.

Though fewer people choose this path,

There's a profound peace in the solitude.

Feel the presence of God and the presence of those who have walked this path before you,

Guiding and supporting you.

Take a moment to breathe deeply.

With each inhale,

Gather strength.

With each exhale,

Release any doubts or fears.

With each inhale,

Gather strength.

With each exhale,

Release any doubts or fears.

With each inhale,

Gather strength.

With each exhale,

Release any doubts or fears.

As we come to the end of this meditation,

Feel gratitude for the journey you've started and the lessons you will learn.

Carry this sense of purpose and peace with you.

Let's close in prayer.

Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank you for the narrow path.

We know it's not easy.

We know there will be perils.

But we also know that it leads to you and to eternal life.

We know that it is the path that you want us to walk.

We know that you're there waiting for us.

And also that you will help us and guide us through every challenge.

Thank you,

Lord.

In Jesus' name,

Amen.

As you slowly open your eyes and return to the present moment,

Take one last deep inhale and slow exhale.

I hope you have an amazing day and God bless.

A good reminder to remember life wonโ€™t always be easy but the narrow path is still the one I want to take.
