Hello and welcome back to this relaxation breathwork experience.

We'll dive deep into the fascinating world of this physiological psi,

A natural mechanism your body uses to induce relaxation.

So let's find a comfortable space,

Take a moment to settle in and when you're ready let's begin.

The physiological psi is a deep breath that occurs involuntarily and naturally throughout the day.

It serves as a reset for your respiratory system and can be a powerful tool for promoting relaxation.

By intentionally engaging in the physiological psi we can amplify its calming effects.

So let's just start by taking a moment just to observe your natural breath.

If it feels okay close down your eyes and just pay attention to the gentle rise and fall of your chest as you breathe.

Pay attention to any sensations that you may be experiencing.

Pay attention to the rhythm and flow of your breathing.

Remembering not to alter anything yet.

We're simply just anchoring and focusing your awareness onto your breathing.

And just notice what you notice,

Feel what you feel and just allow it all to be.

And as you stay in this place of awareness I want to just explain the mechanism behind the physiological psi.

We're going to be taking two breaths in through our nose.

The first breath is about to 80% of your capacity and the second takes you full to the 100.

There's a slight pause in between each breath and there's a slight pause when you reach the top of your inhale.

Once you are finished with your breath you exhale slowly and completely through the mouth with a sighing sound.

So it's going to sound a little something like this.

So let's bring this in together now as we breathe in and again breathing in.

Feel the expansion of the inhale followed by the deep relaxation of the exhale.

Playing around with the pause in between each breath noticing how that feels to hold your breath at the top of the inhale and inviting an audible sigh with the exhale.

Really bringing some vocal to the exhale,

Maybe shaking and moving in your seat if that feels okay.

Encouraging you to get creative with this practice,

Creative with your physiological psi.

Focus on the sensation of releasing tension with each exhale.

What can you let go of?

What can you leave?

Imagine all the tension in your body to be like a rope and with each exhale the rope just begins to unravel and unravel and widen and soften.

Breathing in and out.

Breathing in and out.

Breathing in and out.

Keep going for another minute.

Feel the body expand and soften.

Expand and soften.

Expand and soften.

And then wherever you are in your last breath I want you to take a full deep inhale breathing in and holding here at the top of the inhale.

Holding here for five,

Four,

Three,

Two,

One.

One last big sigh and just allow the breath just to normalise.

Allow the breath just to settle.

Allow everything just to return to normal.

Bringing back that awareness of breath.

Bringing back the awareness of any sensations and just take a moment just to notice how the body and the mind feel here.

The physiological psi is a simple yet profound tool that you can use anytime,

Anywhere to bring a sense of calm to your day.

When you're ready you can maybe just start to shift in your seat making some subtle and slow movements and just slowly opening up your eyes,

Returning back to your external world.

Beautiful.

Thank you so much for joining me in this relaxation experience.

I would really love to hear your feedback on how you found this track.

Please consider leaving a review at the end of this session and I look forward to breathing with you again.
