Start to bring your attention inward.
Because you are here today,
I am assuming just like I did once,
You are looking for an answer to a difficult question.
Why me?
Why did this happen to me?
So,
I will begin by sharing a brief personal story.
During the unfavorable time of my life,
I searched for an answer to this question.
But I searched for an answer from others.
The more I asked,
The more disappointment followed.
However,
This question also prompted me to look for answers elsewhere.
Sitting in silence,
I carefully looked inward.
That is when I discovered the innermost self.
I observed and paused,
Then swapped the why me question with another simple question.
What am I grateful for?
And immediately,
The cynical mind replied,
Nothing.
Although it was tough,
I interrupted and questioned again.
What am I grateful for?
This time,
I was determined that my mind would come up with a positive answer.
At that moment,
I noticed my life is full of amazing gifts that the universe has bestowed upon me.
I have forgotten to notice or express gratitude for them.
Becoming self-aware helped me reach a brighter and empowered place.
It was not easy.
Accepting those low moments made me realize that without these moments,
I would not be where I am today.
I would have missed numerous opportunities to learn,
Grow,
And be selfless for others.
Why me?
This question has forced you to search for wisdom as well.
You are tapping into that amazing power that will help you recognize what you truly need to find peace and succeed.
Regardless of how disheartened or hopeless you may be failing today,
I encourage you to challenge your mind.
Question the twisted thinking.
Your busy,
Skeptical mind may be more apt to highlight problems,
But you have the power to challenge your mind.
When we consciously look inwards,
We find out that our minds are consistently misrepresenting reality and deceiving us for what the mind determines to be the best.
Ask yourselves,
Is the reality really what your mind is driving you towards?
Or are you just trying to make yourself feel like you are being misled through unproductive feelings?
Are these thoughts distorting your reality?
Have faith in yourself and your abilities.
Taking control over your mind and your thoughts will transform you such that you will recognize,
Face,
And accept your weaknesses.
And practicing this,
You will learn,
Bounce back,
And grow.
Remind yourself.
There may be a few uncontrollable things.
However,
There are many more things that are within your power.
Choose your freedom.
Reclaim your empowerment.
Embrace your life unconditionally.
Your life will change in ways you could have only dreamt of before.
