Is The Witch Wound Sabotaging Your Business?

In episode 40 of the Biz Alchemy podcast, Jacquelyn discusses the witch wound and its presence in the female consciousness. When she came across the terminology ‘the witch wound’ by Lisa Lester, it was a light bulb moment in explaining what Jacquelyn saw clairvoyantly in the energy body of female entrepreneurs.

She discusses what the witch wound is, how it affects your business, and why it’s having such a powerful impact right now, not only on your business, but in every aspect of your life.

I am so excited for today's episode.

I've had a beach walk and a swim.

I still can't believe it's winter.

OK,

We've only got two more days of winter,

But the spring weather that we've been having throughout August is amazing.

Anyway,

It was really beautiful.

Yesterday when I was swimming,

Some dolphins went by about 10 meters from me.

And this was after having done a lighthouse walk in the morning and the whales were so close that you could actually hear them when they were spraying out their water.

You could hear their breath and that sound.

Oh,

My gosh.

So I'm feeling in this beautiful bubble of energy to do with the water,

You know,

With the dolphins and whales,

Because they're such evolved beings and their presence is so powerful.

And I'm not sure why,

But it just feels so relevant to have had that energy yesterday.

And today I carried it with me as I walked and swam.

And I'm really feeling in my joy and feeling in my power.

And it just feels like the perfect energy for me to be holding to speak with you about the witch wound,

Which is today's podcast episode topic.

Last week,

When I was doing my course,

Clear Your Chakras to Attract More Clients,

We were covering the throat chakra and the third eye chakra.

And I mentioned the witch wound when we were talking about the throat chakra.

And one of the ladies said to me,

You should do a podcast episode on the witch wound.

And it's been there at the back of my mind because the witch wound energy has been coming up a lot lately.

And so as soon as she said it,

I went,

Okay,

That's next week's topic.

And so of course it's just been there in,

In sort of the back of my mind.

And,

And I've had so many different encounters with the witch wound over the week,

But also insights around the witch wound and especially in relation to life today.

So if you are wondering what the hell I'm talking about when I talk about the witch wound,

I will give you a little explanation.

I have mentioned the witch wound many times throughout my podcast and in more recently in episode 30,

Which was titled Five Common Blocks in the Throat Chakra of Your Business,

I talked about it quite a bit.

And also in episode 33,

Feeling Safe to Speak Your Truth,

I mentioned the witch wound and actually going back a little way in episode 16,

I talked about the three most common blocks in female entrepreneurs,

One of which was the witch wound.

So if you want a bit more background,

A bit more understanding,

You can listen to any of those episodes.

But so you don't have to leave right here and now,

I will give you a brief explanation of the witch wound and then I'm going to dive in.

So I came across the term,

The witch wound in Lisa Lester's book,

Witch.

And although the name,

The witch wound doesn't make my heart sing,

Like there's something not quite resonant with that name for me.

However,

It does beautifully explain what it represents.

And even prior to seeing or coming across that name,

I had certainly identified the energy of the witch wound in many of my clients,

Especially in their throat chakras,

But I'd not really made the connection that it was coming from this energy.

So in the way that she talks about it,

It is an energy held in the female consciousness to do with the many centuries of persecution and the many centuries of persecution of women where they were accused of being witches.

And this is pretty much any women.

You know,

It wasn't just women who maybe were using their intuitive abilities or their magical abilities,

If you like,

Their herbal abilities,

Their healing abilities.

It actually came in certain countries at certain periods of history.

It almost was every woman became accused of being a witch.

So we have this energy in our consciousness.

And the result of that accusation was either some sort of punishment or death.

And certainly those women may have been ostracized,

Betrayed by neighbors,

By family,

You know,

So many wounds that came as a result of that.

So the chances are you have ancestors who experienced the effects of this witch wound.

And also,

I'm sure you've had experiences where it's felt like it's been another lifetime where you've maybe experienced death by hanging or burning or at the very least being tortured,

You know,

After being accused of being a witch.

So as well as that past life aspect,

As well as the ancestral aspect,

There is this energy that is just held in the female consciousness.

And to be honest,

I believe it's just it is held in all consciousness.

And it doesn't just affect females,

Because we're only in,

You know,

Our bodies of females or males for this particular incarnation at our soul level.

It's not feminine or masculine.

And so I believe it's in our consciousness.

Maybe it is just being triggered more in females right now.

And the reason I see this so much in relation to business is because when women move into business,

They have to step into their power.

They have to own their gifts.

They have to speak their truth.

And so it can be very triggering for this wound.

And you might find yourself resisting marketing,

Maybe just marketing in a certain medium,

Or it may be that you have trouble speaking about how amazing you are and how amazing your gifts are and how they can really change someone's life.

It may be that you just want to hide,

You know,

You just want your clients to find you.

You don't want to get out there and,

And,

And have to share what you're helping them do and how you help them do that.

Or it could also be that you feel very frightened and insecure in that environment.

You are scared of being judged.

You don't feel safe.

You feel incredibly vulnerable.

And these are just like the tip of the iceberg.

There are so many energetic stories that emerge when we go into business that could be connected to the witch wound.

As I mentioned before,

When I really moved into my niche of working with female entrepreneurs,

I focused on the throat chakra and that is where I saw so many of these stories emerging.

And it was interesting because it just came through the visuals that I was seeing.

And,

You know,

I would see a noose around the neck,

Sort of sitting in the energy body or an axe up against the neck or fire.

I would see these images and for me,

They were symbolic.

They weren't necessarily what you would call past life,

But they were symbolizing some fear.

I mean,

A pretty big fear because it was pretty much fear of death,

But so obviously to do with the throat chakra and with the expression of what is true for you or for the client that I was looking at.

So the throat chakra was the main chakra that I noticed the witch wound sitting in.

But the more clients I saw,

The more energy bodies I looked at,

I actually realized the very strong connection between the throat chakra and the base chakra because our base chakra is where we feel safe.

Where we feel supported,

Where we feel trust in being supported,

In feeling secure,

You know,

Trusting the earth,

Trusting people around us,

Trusting ourselves.

And so what I realized is no matter how confident the throat may have been and clear in speaking honestly and authentically,

If the base chakra wasn't strong,

If the chakra wasn't strong,

We would not feel supported to be able to communicate in that way.

And now think about it in business,

It is vital that you feel strong and supported to be able to speak with vulnerability,

With authenticity,

Which is how you get your clients.

So the base chakra was also involved.

And the other chakra that really plays a strong role in this is the solar plexus chakra.

The solar plexus is where I often see,

You know,

The invisibility cloak put on all these energies around imposter syndrome,

Just a lack of self-belief and self-worth and self-love.

And all of that comes from this sabotaging witch wound,

Where we do not believe in ourselves enough.

We do not feel safe in who we are to be able to communicate,

To put that out there to the world.

So these are the three main chakras associated with the witch wound,

Although all the chakras are involved.

But these are the stories in female entrepreneurs that I see over and over again.

And I don't think I even have to explain to you how that obviously sabotages your business.

Because I talk all the time about the fact that it's about you being in your authentic energy,

In your true energy.

That's what attracts your clients in.

So what I want to actually look at today during this episode,

I hope that's given you enough of a background because this is what's come through for me in the last few days.

What I want to talk about is why it is important that we address this witch wound energy now and why it's being triggered right now.

So I'm going to look at three reasons why it is vital we look at this now.

Firstly,

Is that there are many new paradigms emerging on the earth at this time.

Well,

Maybe in your eyes,

Or you can see as the old crumbling away,

But the old is crumbling away because the new is emerging.

And obviously I talk about the new paradigm of business.

And in the new paradigm of business,

Which is mostly being birthed through women at this stage,

Which is why I address my content and address this message to women.

In this new paradigm,

We must be authentic.

You must be your authentic self.

That's it.

And we haven't been taught how to do this because we have spent our life hiding our authentic self or just letting little bits out.

In the new paradigm of business,

The reason it is so effortless,

The reason it flows,

The reason it's easy,

The reason it's expanding,

The reason it's abundant comes down to the fact that you are being you and you are finding your path in business that's true for you.

That's it.

But if you are scared to be the true you,

If you are scared to speak your truth,

If you are scared to talk about your gifts,

You will not be able to move fully into this new way of being in business.

So these stories held in our energy body in connection to the witch wound must be transformed.

It's time to transform.

So ask yourself the question,

How do you reveal yourself to your clients?

How authentic are you?

What do you hide?

What filters do you have in place?

Also ask yourself,

How do you reveal yourself to yourself?

What are you hiding from yourself?

Are you listening to yourself?

Are you listening to that voice in your heart that's saying,

No,

Not this way,

This is not right,

This doesn't feel right?

Or are you overriding it?

Because as I spoke about last week in episode 39,

Your unique business path,

You have to listen to that voice if you are going to follow your unique path.

That voice is all there is.

That's the thing that stands between where you are right now in your business and the business of your dreams.

The business that sits within this new paradigm,

Your voice and stories from the witch wound could be strangling that voice.

Now,

I might challenge you a bit here because you might say,

Okay,

Jacqueline,

What can I do about it?

Give me a tool.

Okay.

No,

No,

It is actually about you going in and you being true to yourself.

You really listening to yourself because you know,

You do know,

Your mind may tell you you don't know,

Your mind may hide that truth from you through all its chitter chatter.

But the answer is in your heart.

And maybe the way for you to find that answer is through journaling.

Maybe it's through meditating.

Maybe it's like for me,

It's walking on the beach where that voice just comes through so strongly.

But here's the thing.

What I've learned to do is I listen to that voice and I know when that voice is true because it makes me feel joyful and it feels easy.

And this is exactly why I've created my mentorship,

The heart of business.

So you really learn to trust that voice every single time so that you can transform the energy of the witch wound because it's no longer relevant.

Having said that,

I'm going to move on to the second reason why it's vital right now.

Current world events are triggering the witch wound.

Just like over those centuries,

There was a divide put predominantly between men and women.

And at the time it was orchestrated by the church and that divide meant that people turned on each other and people lost their truth.

They lost that ability to go into their heart and feel what was right for them because their mind became this instrument that stopped that connection to the heart.

And it almost brings me to tears to say it right now,

But this is happening now in our society.

We're being divided and in that division,

It can become very difficult to hear the truth of another.

And we may even be frightened to share our truth,

Frightened to share our choice,

Frightened to share the way we see things,

Frightened to stand up for ourselves.

And can you see this triggering of the witch wound?

Here we are.

I've been talking about it for a couple of years about overcoming this witch wound to help us in business so we can show up as who we are,

Speak openly,

Honestly,

Authentically,

Share all of who we are so that we can attract in the right clients.

And now we're in this other situation where maybe we're only sharing part of who we are and not just with our clients.

In our everyday interactions.

So the witch wound is being triggered again.

And I want to bring this up just for your awareness.

If you are wondering why you are struggling to share parts of yourself to your audience,

To your clients,

Why you feel like,

I just need to keep that safe.

I mean,

I need to keep that secret.

I don't feel safe in sharing that.

Just understand that this wound is being triggered again.

So don't be hard on yourself.

And the energy that shifts it,

The energy that shifts the witch wound,

The energy that shifts this current situation that shifts it for you energetically,

That helps you transform,

Transmute these old stories in the consciousness.

It's love and compassion,

Heart chakra energies.

It's dropping into love,

Dropping into compassion,

And also allowing yourself to be in the energy of joy as much as possible.

That transmutes these energies.

It's a much higher vibration and it allows you to shift them from your energy body.

So if you find yourself getting triggered,

If you find yourself going into fear,

If you find yourself going into judgment,

Drop into love,

Feel compassion,

Feel compassion for yourself,

Feel compassion for the other,

Feel compassion for the group,

Whatever's triggered you,

Drop into that energy.

So the third reason I want to,

Well,

I don't know if it's a reason.

It's almost like a third topic of conversation that I want to mention to you here,

Which is an interesting perspective on it,

And it actually just came to me as I was jotting down some notes.

I know when I walked on the beach,

I did come up with three things I wanted to talk about.

And then by the time I got home,

Cooked my brunch,

Had my shower,

I came and then went to ride it.

I went,

Oh,

I can only remember those two.

And then this third one,

Which wasn't what I thought of on the beach,

Just dropped in.

And so I want to share it with you.

And whatever that other third one was,

Well,

It'll come back if it's important.

But it's the fact that we are in the shift between the age of Pisces and the age of Aquarius.

And this is very much about us claiming our sovereignty.

We are moving away from the energy of being in a school of fish.

We are transitioning into moving into our sovereignty,

Into the individual.

Into being empowered in the individual energy,

The energy of the individual,

The energy of our sovereignty.

And you know what this means,

Especially in relation to what I've been talking about with the witch wound?

This means we actually create our own security.

So thinking about the base chakra,

It means we move into supporting ourselves.

We create our own security.

We create our own safety.

We create this within ourselves.

And we also create it through that connection with the earth,

Which is very much part of the base chakra energy.

In this age of the individual,

In this age of sovereignty,

It also means that we accept,

We love,

And we believe in ourselves,

The solar plexus energies.

We do not look out there for that anymore.

We find it within ourselves.

And it also means that we then feel more empowered to express our truth,

To express our authenticity.

And not only that,

Through being in our power,

Through feeling safe and secure in who we are,

Through being able to express that,

We are then able to listen to others.

We are able to allow them to be in their sovereignty,

To have their truth and their power within their truth,

And to express their truth and express their authenticity.

And we do not feel threatened by it.

We can hear it.

We can listen.

The witch wound triggers the energy of not being heard.

And so this shift that is happening enables us to listen to others and still remain in our sovereignty.

So one thing that I would really love to leave you with around this is to have a look at when you are feeding the energy of the witch wound,

When you're feeding the fear,

The lack of support,

Lack of security,

The judgment.

When are you feeding this?

Because if you are feeding this externally,

Just know that you are feeding that wound within you as well.

But it's time to move into your sovereignty.

Believe in who you are.

Believe in your gifts.

Oh my gosh,

The clients that you will attract when you come from that place.

It's very,

Very powerful.

I do apologize for this very long episode,

And I still only covered just the tiniest bit,

But I hope that it's helped you in your understanding of the witch wound and why it may be triggering you right now and giving you another perspective on how you can show up in business and as I say,

Transform or transmute these old energies that are sitting in the consciousness and move through into your uniqueness,

Into your sovereignty.
